he can't see me but i stood there, frozen. i feel like i can't speak so i just stare him. tears threatening to spill. until my phone starts ringing very loud.

luca's face comes up on my screen, mentally cursing. looking up to see taeil staring at me strangely.

"uh yes luc?" i kinda said with my voice shaky

"ma'am, you didn't tell me when you landed. but i'm assuming because you answered that you are safe and sound." he laughs lightly.

"i'm sorry," i laugh. "but let me call you back in like three seconds!"

"okay by-" i hung up immediately.

i look up to see taeil still staring.

"oh you must be nova! yuta just left but he should be right back. i can show you your room."

"thank you." i offer a fake smile. we pass one room.

"this is yuta's room, he has an attached restroom. this restroom right here is one that you and i will have to share. this room is mine and yours is the one on the end of the hall." he says as he lets out a loud breath.

"thank you again t." he looks up at me confused. "taeil sorry!" i try to cover up.

he smiles at me and carries my luggage's to my room for me. once he finished i thank him again.

"no problem, if you need me or anything i'll be on the piano like before!" he smiles as he shuts the door behind him.

instantly i dial luca's number to face time him. he picks up on the second ring.

"luc" i start bawling.

"hey hey what's wrong?" he tries to comfort me over the phone.

"taeil is here."

"well duh he's there, you're in your hometo-"

"no luca, he is here. here. he's is living with yuta!" i cut him off, crying even harder. "this is fucking hard. why did i think this was a good idea?"

"shit. yuta has to have a good reason for not telling you right?"

as soon as he said that, yuta barges into my room with a big smile and a smiling taeil behind him.

"hey man!" yuta yells out loud speaking to luca over the phone, he says hey back i allow them to talk for a little bit while i go to the restroom to clean up.

"okay you can do this." i breathed in and out, heavily.

"nova? you alright in there?" taeil calls out.

"uh yeah i'm sorry i just started and i miss luca so i'm emotional." i lightly laughed. he looks at me with so much confusion. but he shakes it off.

yuta then comes into the hallway seeing me with my puffed eyes and hugs me, immediately apologizing for not telling me about taeil. but in a whisper.

"we'll talk later." he tells me and i nod, offering a smile.

"hey nova, we were going to get breakfast, did you wanna join?" taeil comes to my room.

"um i'm actually okay i am a bit jet lagged. but i appreciate the offer." i smile back and he nods.

i hear the front door shut so i get up from my bed and head into the front room, where the piano is located. i sat down and took a deep sigh.

although i haven't played in years some songs i used to play continuously where some songs are just based off muscle memory now.

i started off by playing twinkle twinkle little star and laugh to myself because that was the first song taeil taught me to play. i smiled at the thought but instantly shook off the thought.

going back to my room, i grab my laptop and take it back to the living room so i can watch netflix in there. i didn't wanna be crammed in my room all day.

an hour passed and i hear loud laughs coming from the front door. turning my head to look at them i see yuta coming in with a togo box.

"this is for you m'lady!" he smiles. "taeil insisted that we bring you back food."

i looked down at the togo box, "well thank you taeil." i smile back at him.

taeil then announced that he had errands to run, that he'll be back before dinner time. yuta then turns to me and we go sit at the island.

"why didn't you tell me that he was staying here with you?" i blurted out.

"i'm sorry i was being a little selfish and not thinking of you but i really missed you. i didn't want you to not come because you knew he was here with me." he said and it sounded like it was all one word, he didn't take a breath till the very end. "but how have you been? like really!"

"well i was doing great! until you asked me to come here i was already nervous to see him because you guys were all friends with him so i was bound to meet him again somewhere. didn't expect it to be so soon." i say mumbling the last sentence.

"i'm glad you came i haven't told the guys that you're here yet, but it's jaehyun's birthday is this weekend. so you can reunite then!"

"ohhh sounds like fun, i really missed them." i say with a genuine smile.
