When I woke up he was in bed passed out so I slowly got up and got ready. As I was leaving he was still asleep so I wrote a note
' Sorry to leave you alone but I hade to get going

I quickly made my way to the vehicle that took us to the wall and again nothing happened on the other side and no one tried to push me off today. We got back and there was hardly anyone in the cafeteria so it was a little quiet because we were all tired. Lilith and Seth sat down next to me
" hey I'm sorry about what I said before "
Lilith said and I could see she meant it
" it's fine "
" so umm we're going to go practice on the shooting range .... wanna come "
Seth said clearly trying to not make it sound like he was flirting because he kept his head down. But he would look up from time to time behind me. I looked and there he was Eric was leaning against the wall looking over at us I rolled my eyes a little at him and I could tell he was fighting a smile. I turned back to them
" yeah are you guys ready to go now "
They nodded and we got up. When I walked past him I winked and the smile won a little because the corners of his lips were turned up a little.
" shit "
Seth said as he missed for the third time and Lilith said
" I still don't know how you made it "
She shot at the target missing it once then hitting the top of the left shoulder. They both looked at me and I fired three shots and hit the center of the chest and both shoulders. They looked at me and I said
" yeah don't know how they let me in either "
I could tell they were impressed and I felt kind proud that they were I don't know scared of me a little Seth said
" good thing we said sorry when we did or I think we would have the mettle in us right now"
We all laughed a little and shot a few more rounds then decided to call it a night.
We were walking and were getting close to our room and they said
" well we're down this way good night Carter "
That's when they broke off and he kissed her. I smiled and continued to our room but I guess it's really an apartment. I opened the door and he was sitting at the small table by the window staring out it
" What ya doing "
He looked at me a smiled and said
" Just thinking "
" ok "
I laughed because of the big smile that was on his face.

Days turned to weeks and weeks to months then a year. When I woke up I wasn't feeling well so I was able to stay back and help with the newcomers and someone else took my place. I stood next to Eric as the first jumper fell screaming, of course, I turned to him trying not to laugh but it didn't help in fact he let out a little laugh
" shhh "
" Sorry sorry "
I tried as the next fell but to no avail
" I'm sorry I can't I'll see you on the tour "
" ok "
He gave me a kiss and I walked out and went to the pit and winked at him when he saw me. I didn't feel like going to diner with everyone else so I stayed in and Eric brought me a slice of cake
" thanks "
I said as he set it to down then sat down next to me
" anyone you think will be on the top right away "
" well they all screamed if that's an indication of how this group will be "
I laughed
" They all can't be like me the first day "
I joked and he moved the stray hairs from my face
" you've got that right "
" it's late and I have to get up early tomorrow "
" yeah "
We got ready for bed and he put his head on my chest and his arm over my stomach and I played with his hair till sleep eventually took us.
