Saying I am happy, will be an underestimate to how I truly feel. Saying I feel joy, will be far from how I really feel.
last night was the best night I've had in a long time – or maybe ever. Everything was perfect, my looks, the movie but especially? Him.I happily zipped up my gladiator sandals, taking one last look at the mirror seeing everything was in place, my hair, my eyeliner, my dress. Everything was perfect for a normal day at school.
"Chloe honey! Come down before breakfast gets cold!" I heard my mom's voice from down stairs.
I sighed, not even bothering to answer as I throw my back pack over my shoulder and rushed downstairs to the kitchen to see everybody all seated around, fried bacon and scrambled eggs with toast and orange juice, but to be honest, I wasn't so hungry.
"mom, you know I don't eat bacon" I sighed as I sat down on the stool by my little brother's stool, "yes you can have it" I said poking my eggs as I saw from the corner of my eye Jaden's fork planning on these dripping fat meat.
We stayed quiet for a bit, once in a while I felt stares directed at me. At first I ignored it, but the moment I felt it happening over and over again I just had to react, "what?" I asked chewing on my toast as I looked at each of them.
"who was the boy from last night?" my dad said all too casually.
I almost choked on my dry toast, "what boy?"
"you said you were hanging out with Mia, but you came back with a boy and were a bit dressed up for a normal hang out" he said straight forwardly, demanding to know exactly what his baby princess was doing with a boy, dressed up to a date.
Just as I felt the tension around me closing in, a horn was heard from the outside. Thank you Mia. "sorry, but it's my ride, gotta go" I said in a rush, taking my bag and hurrying out the door, not even bothering to stop as my dad called my name.
I quickly opened Mia's car door and got in shutting it behind me, "morning to you too" she said sarcastically.
I smiled, "got here just in time, my parents started questioning me about Liam" I explained clicking my belt, getting ready for the ride.
Mia smirked, "happy I came to your rescue, now I'll be the one questioning you about practically every possible detail, so be ready" she winked as she started the car and drove away from my house as I started talking about the date with Liam. The same date I wouldn't mind to tell Mia.
***Chloe Turner –
IN. Beacon Hill's School Halls***"wait, so he kissed you?" Mia asked excitedly. I shook my head looking at her confused, "so you kissed him?" she continued.
I frowned in confusion shaking my head, "no! I just told you we were eating pizza and he got a little pizza sauce on the corner of his mouth, how did you come to the conclusion we kissed?" I asked a bit impatiently.
Mia rolled her eyes, "it’s an old one, but I'll explain later, now keep talking" she demanded anxiously as we stopped by my locker.
"well, so he got a little dirty from his pizza and…"
(FlashBack) "you have a bit of a pizza sauce right here" I chuckled pointing at the corner of my lower lip, signing him with my finger.
"oh" he mumbled awkwardly, trying to wipe it off but failed.
This time I couldn't help but giggle and shaking my head in amusement, "here, let me" I suggested.
