BRENDON’S POINT OF VIEW

It was the middle of the day, and Heather was still upstairs asleep. I decided to give her a wake up call, but I had to make it quick. I opened the closet in the hall next to our room and looked through to find something to scare her with. I accidentally knocked something off of the top shelf, and hoped she didn’t hear it. I checked around the corner to see if she was still sleeping. I sighed relieved that I didn’t wake her. “She’s so adorable when she’s sleeping, I’m glad that I asked her to marry me.” I thought out loud. I went back to the closet and found a clown mask. “Why the hell do I still have this? Doesn’t matter. Heather I love you.” I ran into the room, and jumped on the bed and screamed. Her eyes were wide open. “Hi m’love.” She said kissing the mask.

“B-But, how did y-” She cut me off by pulling the mask over my face, and kissing me. “I heard you knock something off of the shelf in the closet, and knew you were planning something so I pretended I was sleeping.” I knew she was secretly the Devil. “And this is the part where you think I’m the Satanic one.” She got out of bed, and went to the closet to get dressed. I was just left there on the bed confused as fuck, and thinking how the hell she played it off so well. I didn’t let it try to bother that much so I decided to go downstairs and get a cup of coffee.

HEATHER’S POINT OF VIEW

I went to the closet to ‘get dressed’, but I was actually planning to get revenge on my dear Brendon. I grabbed the liquid latex and fake blood out of a box in the closet and made it seem like I accidentally slit my throat on his razor. When I was satisfied with the way it looked I ran and screamed downstairs hoping Brendon would fall for it. “Help Brendon I slit my throat on your razor!” He came running towards me as a worried wreck. “How the hell did this happen?” He asked a worried mess. “I wa-” I coughed up fake blood and it got all over his chest. I could tell he was about to cry so I ended it there after I said, “I took a shower and slipped on some water and landed on your razor, but I started to soon realise that I used liquid latex and fake blood to scare you.” I got up from the ground and peeled the latex off of my neck. “You mean this whole time you were faking it! I fell in love with the right woman.”

I looked at him in shock. “You mean you’re not going to give me a lecture about how I scared you and thought I was actually dying?” I said looking at him confused and slightly shocked. “Of course not, I would never do that. I feel like if I ever did that you would leave me or be really upset. I don’t ever want to be the reason why you are upset.” He looked down at me with those sweet chocolate eyes that just made me melt. “Oh Brendon… Why do you do this to me?” “Do what to you my dear?” “You just look at me and make me feel like I am the only girl who exists to you.” “Well, that’s pretty much true doll. I haven’t talked to my mother in awhile since I told her I didn’t believe in mormonism, and Sarah and Audrey are long gone. So that leaves you, the most amazing wonderful girl that I will ever need in my life.” I felt a blush form in my cheeks, but our moment was rudely interrupted by our neighbors dog barking in the screen door.

I groaned and said “Will that dog ever not be barking in our screen door?” I was clearly aggravated, and so was Brendon. “This is the third time this week it has been there. He’s scaring Penny and Bogart. I’m going to go talk to that asshole next door, and give him a piece of my mind.” Brendon put clothes on, then ran out the door. I also put my clothes on to go with Brendon. The next thing I knew we were in our neighbors driveway.”
