RING! RING! RING!

"hello?" i said groggily into the phone, just waking up.

"CASEY! where are you?" my best friend Jessica, yelled.

"oh crap! that was today? i'll be ready in 20 minutes." i said hurriedly.

Today was the day Jessica and i were supposed to drive to a country music festival down state. We only lived about 2 hours from it, by living in a small town called Kingston in Michigan. I already had my bag packed last night, so i only had to get dressed and do something with my hair. I then text Jessica.

Hey, i'm ready be out in a minute. xx

I grabbed some money and ran out to Jessica's car. She opened the trunk for me to put my suitcase in and then i climbed in the passenger seat while she was sitting in the driver's seat. During the car ride we stopped twice to eat and use the restroom at random gas stations. We talked about anything and everything; boys, music, make-up, new clothes, how our summers were, and unfortunately school.

"so, are you excited to go to a new school?" she asks me with a hint of disappointment.

i just shook my head, thinking that in only a week we have to go back to school.

"but look at the bright side, now you get a fresh new start and since you're a junior you get to see SENIOR boys!" she says excitedly, emphasizing the word senior.

I just laugh at her expression change and i really am excited to be a junior, and have a new start at a school, maybe i won't be the shy, nerdy girl anymore. Minutes later, we pull up into the parking lot. We got out of the car and went to go give the person our tickets and then go to another booth to give the person working the stand our fake i.d's. Since we are both only 17 we needed fake i.d's to get a wrist band to be able to drink alcohol. It would definitely not be fun with out the alcohol. And no we're not huge alcoholics, just on occasions. It was about 8:00 and the concert was about to start.

"Could we go to the bar? i need something to drink." i asked Jessica.

"yeah, i really need to start gettin' my flirt on!" she winked at me. i just rolled my eyes knowing she'll sure be doing a little more than flirting. She's not a slut or anything she just.. she's a little boy crazy, but you gotta love her!

We walked over to the bar and when we got there, my mouth literally dropped. The person who stood in front of me was wearing jeans that fit him like a God and a black t-shirt that showed off his defined back muscles. I couldn't even see his face, just from the back i knew he was hot. When he turned around my eyes widened even more if possible. He had piercing blue eyes that you could melt in, with gorgeous chestnut colored hair. He looked about 19 years old, which is weird because he worked at a bar.

"NICK!!" i heard my mother yell.

"yeah mom?" i say lazily, while on the computer looking at my facebook.

"it's time to go, we've got to go on a business trip, i need you to work the bar!"

"OK, be down in a second!"

i grabbed my suitcase and ran downstairs to my car. This was a usual thing, my grandparents are the owners of a country music festival and every couple months we have to go to it for a couple days. I am only 18 years old, well in a few weeks i'll be 19, but i know what you're thinking.
