He stood over the last guy as he watched the black dodge charger drive off.

The anger boiled up inside him as he tried to keep himself from just killing him before questioning him.

"Why did they take her..."He shouted as the man grew silent"where are they taking her?" He continued to demand.

The man grinned as he spit back blood testing the man. He was a dead end. There was no way he was going to give the information he needed.

Pulling out his gun he pointed it at the taunting man and shot him in the head yelling in anger for even letting Something like this slip through his fingers.

Searching for their I.D's he came across Hailey 's car keys.

Gripping them in his grasp he knew exactly what he had to do.

"Looks like I got some old friends to see"He said to himself as he got into the red Audi and drove.

He only stopped for the Necessity's as he drove. The taught of Alex's last words crossed his mind.

["I know you'll stay away but if you ever see my daughter In the future, please help Xander look out for her"

"I promise"]

No one knew he had came back to see her and after that last promise he did stay away until he seen her and he knew he had to fulfill a promise to a fallen friend.

Xander and Adrian came into his thoughts.

It was 16 years that he has even seen them and he didn't know how they would accept him especially with news like this.

Hailey 's face wiped everything else from his thoughts as he remembered how she was taken away causing him to grow angry with himself for letting them take her.

She was fighting back he kept repeating in his head. They gave her something because he saw her body shut down.

His emotions of anger and confusion grew as he past town after town. Each time  he tried puzzling prices together but always failed.

This didn't make sense. After a few days of driving he now sat tired and confused in front of Adrian 's brick house. The house from his younger years brought back memories he tried frantically to forget.

Adrian's red truck sat silently in the dark driveway, so he knew he was home. As much as he needed to speak with Cancer he didn't know his new address.

A black familiar dodge hemi truck pulled up behind the Audi as Wyatt stepped out.

His eyes widened looking from Wyatt to his daughters car.

"Tell me my little girls fine Wyatt" Xander demanded trying to contain the hurt in his voice.

"As much as I wish I could I can't...She's in trouble Xander" He spoke upset that they had to meet again on these terms.

Xander growled his hands on his head as the anger and pain rushed through him..

""Why did I let her go....FUCKKK!" He shouted pacing himself. The porch light shined as Adrian came out followed by Aiden.

His eyes watched Xander then fell on Wyatt.

"You have been gone along time...I think this conversation needs to be discussed inside" Adrian spoke firmly as Xander grew silent. The rage inside him fought to escape but not now. He knew if he let it that would most likely cause him to hurt people he loved.

As the four stepped inside Adrian asked Aiden to go upstairs. He didn't need his son becoming like he used to be.

Wyatt then began to explain everything starting from his last promise to Alex, to him watching out for Hailey once he knew it was her.

"There motives for taking her still remain unclear" Wyatt finished.

"I need to find her and if it means picking up the person I once was then this is how it is" Xander said with anger on his voice.

"It means we as a family will become what WE once were to find her Xander" Adrian said stepping in. His blue eyes pierced glaring at the locked basement.

They sat discussing the plans and calling in old friends to find her. Aiden sat at the top of the stairs in awe. Who where they before was what questioned his mind?

What was the reason his mother complained as he was growing up about being like his dad? He grew curious but that would have to wait.

He went to his room quietly shutting the door as he tried to call Hailey but no answer. Deep down he knew he had to find his cousin but he would be denied that opportunity by his dad and mom.

Packing a bag with clothes he grabbed his laptop and bank card.

"I'll find you Hailey no matter what" He promised as he snuck out his window.
