Midnight Kisses

Chapter One

(Kagome's POV)

"Kagome. " He whispered.

Soft taps follow after, awakening me from my light slumber.

I rubbed the sleepiness away from my eyes, a little yawn slipping past my lips.

" Who is it? " I asked, walking towards the window.

But, I already knew in my heart who it was; even before his silver-white hair gave him away.

His name lingered on my lips, as a smile rose to my face.

" Inuyasha. " I whispered, sliding the window open for him to come in.

He slipped into the room without a sound, his body against mine. His lips attached to mine before I could say another word.

My heart began to melt, as I deepen the kiss and finding my hands lost in his silky soft hair.

I pulled him closer, biting onto his lips softly. A moan escaped his beautiful lips and I took advantage of that, slipping my tongue in his mouth.

We fought for dominance, which he won. He placed his hands on my hips, taking me in his arms. My legs snaked around his waist, locking into place.

The urge to pull away only grew stronger but I couldn't find the strength to; for his lips were to intoxicating.

He placed soft, delicate kisses on my lips, moving further down till he reached my neck.

A raspy moan that I had been holding back had made its presence known, as I moaned into his ear. My grip on his hair grew tighter, and I began to pant.

" Inuyasha. "

He smiled on my neck, as he kissed me softly.

" I missed you, babe. " He said, cupping my cheek.

A chuckle left my throat, I was surprised at his boldness.

" I could tell. " I whispered, swirling his hair around my finger.

His smile grew wide, the moonlight began to illuminate on his olive tone skin. He's so handsome.

" I love you, Inuyasha. "

" I love you too, Kagome. "

" Stay with me? "

" Yeah. I will. "

He cradled me in his strong arms, carrying me to bed. He slid under the blanket with me, with me on top.

He pressed a peck against my forehead, letting it lingering. I lifted my head up, our lips meeting for a soft, innocent kiss.

" Goodnight Kagome. "

" Goodnight Inuyasha. "

I wrapped my legs around his torso, pulling him close. His hands gripped onto my small waist, and pulled me into his lap.

His hands wrapped around my chest, his head buried in the crook of my neck.

His breath grew softer, signaling that he had fell asleep. I closed my eyes, smiling to myself.

His soft breath tickled my face. His dog ears twitched as he adjusted himself.

" I love you, Kagome. " He muttered, smiling in his sleep.

It felt amazing to be loved.

His love was all I craved.

Cause I love him with all my heart.

And nothing is going to change my mind.

" I love you too. "
