Chapter 37 Making Plans

I had to make up a story to Nathan. I just didn't want him to go because I knew he would get jealous that I'm with two or three other guys, depending on whether The Flash is coming or not, even though we're engaged now and knows I love him.

I have figured out a story but now I have to get people in on it first so, since both of my brothers are home now, I can talk them into it.

I put my hand on Jason's scanner so I could get inside. They said that them and their wives were here and so we're all my friends.

"Okay," I said out loud so everyone could hear me.

They looked at me as I stood in front of them all sitting on the couches and chairs.

"I need all of you to help me here. I'm going on a secret assignment. It's with The Arrow. Now before you freak out and shit over the guy, I've been friends with him for years and I know him well." I paused to wait for everyone to process it in their brains and once they all looked like they were almost out of their shock, then continued on.

"I don't want Nathan to know. He gets very jealous when I'm with other men regardless of who they are except for my family like Jason and Liam. The Arrow has a few friends that are going to be there too. Now what I need you guys to do it just stay home or if you go out, hide yourself from Nathan and if he approaches you, say I'm on a trip with my brothers and will be back. Because that's what I'm telling him. Which means Jason and Liam are going to have to stay indoors at all times until I get back. My job shouldn't take long either." I stopped and then walked around.

"I think you should just tell him the truth Skylar, he will most likely understand." Jason said and Chloe agreed.

"No. I know him. He will want to go with me and then act all protective and distract me from my work. I love him so much but I want to get this job done fast so I can take care of the man who disturbed your wedding Jas. Last night one of the men showed up and tried to threaten me. And The Arrow is planning to help me too." I explained and Jason sighed.

"Fine. I'll do it." Then Liam agreed and so did everyone else.

"Thank you guys so much!" I yelled and jumped on my two bothers who were sitting next to each other.

"Jesus Christ Skylar! Careful where you jump!" Liam said with his face scrunched up in pain. I laughed and hugged him.

"Sowwy brother." I said and pouted then got up and hugged everyone.

"Now that everyone's agreed, I'll go tell him and then leave tomorrow. I love you guys!" I said and ran out the door to start my plan.

I actually liked going to Sterling City to see all the action and criminals and Felicity's technology that I wish I had in my van or office.

I went home and told Nathan about my trip with my brothers. He wanted to go but I told him it was an annual thing and that I just wanted some family time with them and he said he understood.

Tomorrow, I'd be gone.
