AVAS POV

New York, it did not feel right here. I missed London.

I sat uncomfortably on the couch in the flat that mum had bought in New York. It was okay, but she wasn't any home designer.

She kept glancing at her phone with such mixed emotions of anger, confusion, guilt and sorrow. Every time I asked her she gave me a plastered fake smile and shook it off.

I could tell something was really wrong but I did not have enough courage to actually ask her.

I am bored out of my mind and I have been here only for an hour.

"Oh, mum we need to go shopping for clothes." I reminded her. She stopped glancing down worriedly at her phone and looked up and gave me a real smile, which oddly did not satisfy me.

Once we got to the mall, I went on shopping mode. I never really liked fashion, but something just clicked in the clothes I picked out.

I picked out multiple pairs of heels, wedges, converse, toms, tennis, flats, open-toe. Any shoe that I liked I took, I guess not relying on my mum's money because I had my own really sparked my interest in shopping.

My phone started ringing, that's a bit odd?

"Hello?" I answered the phone.

"Oh thank god, Ava?"

Something clicked.

"Sandra?"

"I thought you lost your memory."

"Well, I know your name from the tone of your voice, I am not any doctor but I can say it is pretty impressive." I looked through the racks of dresses while having the phone pressed against my shoulder and my ear.

"So when are you coming back to California?"

"California?"

"Honey, you have a mansion here and are focused in California." She replied in a duh tone:

"I live in California?"

"Yes and in London too, you seriously lost your memory of the past two years?" She questioned me.

"Yea, how did you know?"

"Harry?"

"Harry?" I asked her back, Harry who?

"Omg the poor lad!" She exclaimed.

"Ava where are you?" She continued on, but before I could answer my mum snatched the phone right out my hand and rudely interrupted my conversation. Who the hell does she think she is?

"Yes she has many meetings to go to." Mum said, at that moment a memory hit me.

--Flashback--

Just when I thought she was about never going to pick up, she finally did. "Hey Ava."

"Hi um, mum, the crew is all worried your show starts in like half an hour and your not here." I stated simply, she was probably stuck in traffic but I justed needed to clear that with them that she was in traffic after I cleared it my self.

"I am stuck in an every important meeting right now Ava, your going to have to do it."

"I can't do your show." I argued back.

"Your going to do it, pass the phone to Chloe." I huffed angrily and handed the stylist my phone.

"Yes will do. We will get her ready. Yes we will tell them that your sorry. Bye Mrs. Everygreen." Chloe hung up the phone and handed it back to me. "Ava may you please do this? That meeting is important but so is this show." Chloe begged.
