'Todays the day, its finily over.

I have my regalia, I have my cap.

What am i missing?'

Lucy terns around, and looking into her mirror.

Pictures taped along the edges.

Pictures of animals, and of Lucy's family.

But the face that was seen the most was of a teen boy.

A young boy, who looked to be softmore age, was in most of the photos.

Some photos he was smiling, showing off his purly whites.

Some had his chocolate brown hair falling in front of his sky blue eyes, which seamed to hold a spark of curiosity and mischief.

Lucy pulls a picture off the mirror, holding it carefully.

The picture was of the boy, who sat on a long tree branch, staring off, thinking.

"Adam, you should have been with me."

The picture begins to blur with tears, and Lucy falls to her knees.

"You were supposed to be by my side."

Lucy lays down, her back agenst l her plush white carpet.

"I should have never let you go to that party."

Adam's death was the night of the homecoming football game.

His and Lucy's softmore year.

Adam was the quarterback for there school football team.

After the game, Lucy was waiting for Adam outside the boys locker room.

That's where she heard the thing that made the first crack of her heart.

"Hey, mark, I got to tell you something."
Adam's voice was heard over the rest of the players voices.

"What's up Adam?"
Replied the voice of mark Jones, the team captain.

"You know Lucy young?"
Adam asked.

"You mean the girl you're always hanging out with?"
Mark countered.

"Yeah, her."
Adam says, sounding closer, like mark and Adam had stepped near the door, and away from everyone else.

"What about her?"
Mark asked.

"Well, she likes you, but she says she could never tell you, so I desided to tell you. Do you like her?"
Adam asked like he was holding something back.

"F#$% no, shes a nerd," Mark's voice was full of venom.  "and shes like, so plain that shes almost ugly."
