"Blades drawn. Now." Levi commanded. Eren looked over his shoulder, seeing a soldier flying from the trees. "It'll happen in the blink of an eye. Be ready."
The female Titan ran from the trees, hitting the soldier and leaving him nothing but blood and guts. Her footsteps pounded on the ground.
"Go! Move it!" Levi shouted.
The female Titan reached for Eren, barely missing him by an inch. An eerie smile on her lips and wide eyes.
"Holy shit!" Gunther shouted. "How the hell are we supposed to pull evasive maneuvers in here?"
"It's catchin' up!" Eld spoke.
"Captain! Engage the ODM gear?" Petra questioned. "Captain!"
A soldier flew behind the female Titan. "Where you goin'?"
"Rear Reinforcements!" Petra informed. The soldier shot his rope forward but the female Titan grabbed it and pulled him forward before crushing in the tree by her shoulder. The other soldier she crushed in her hand.
Petra watched with horror. "Captain! You're orders!"
"It's dangerous! Let's take it out!" Oruo yelled.
"She's gaining on us! Let's just take her out!" Gunther yelled.
Levi was staying quiet. "Your orders, sir! Please!" Eren begged.
Levi looked behind him. "Everyone cover you ears. Now." He spoke calmly. He lifted his flare gun into the air and shot, a high pitched ringing ran out.
"Was that an acoustic round?" Eren questioned, holding his hands to his ears.
"Remind me, what is our mission?" Levi looked at him. "Is it to simply act on impulse in the heat of the moment? Let me answer that question for you. It's not. This squad's mission is to keep this brat alive, whatever the cost. Don't forget it."
'It's not just to police me?' Eren thought.
"We keep pushing forward on horseback. Is that clear?" Levi questioned.
"As a bell, sir!" Petra responded.
"But for how long? We can't keep running forever!" Eren exclaimed. "She's right on top of us as it is. If we don't do something soon - " More soldiers were trying to take her down but she killed them easily. "No! They keep coming! They're all gonna die unless we turn around and do something!"
