Often in the face of unfamiliarity and the unknown, speculation and fear become a weapon forthose who cannot make sense of what they do not understand. As human beings we find ourselves in the face of weakness and incertitude, as we search for meaning behind every experience and every curtain. Throughout human history, it has been proven that this flaw within our nature has caused us to turn on one another out of fear, envy, malice, deep depravity, greed, anger, and even desperation. The human mind once perverted can become a weapon of both great admiration and horror, especially against ourselves. It comes as to no surprise that when given the hard choices, our first instinct is to choose towards the paths that only the deep recesses of our minds forbid us to even consider. It seems like such a simple concept of good versus evil, but when it comes to picking choices that would shape us into better people the path to ruin is just one persuasion away from the reality that all people have led before. Only the truest of us can endure the hardest and grittiest version of reality to still refuse to be seduced by parts our minds buried deep into the unknown. What happens to these individuals chosen by time and called upon from forces outside of their control, all have a beginning that was created through the womb of someone else's sacrifice.
Born on the 20th of August 1989, Rowena G. Kingsley came into this world as most newborns do, as they beg and scream. During her first few days of life in the hospital however, most of the nurses and doctors had noticed something strange within the newborn as if something from within had been calling them to her but that story was one she wouldn't hear until she was to become of age. During much of her infancy, Rowena had been raised by Lydia and Ihrin as she knew little of where her parents were or why they had left her behind. Lydia and Ihrin although her legal guardians, were in actuality her mother's much older sisters who took on the responsibility of filing in the pieces of the parental roles left behind by their much absent sister and brother-in law. Since the very beginning, the small town of Augusta, Maine knew somewhat of the history behind the odd couple living in the Greenwich Village complex, but never did they expect a baby to enter the equation, especially one so different looking than her two caregivers. Lydia the older of her aunts had been noted for her midnight dark curly hair along with two uniquely streaked white hair strands that most would say bring out the green in her hazel eyes. As opposed to Ihrin, who was a much younger version of her older sisters and inherited their mother's short red hair along with her bright blue eyes and heart shaped face. Lydia on the other hand, had been noticed for her tall rubenesque figure compared to Ihrin's shorter more hourglass stature.
Although strange to many, the townsfolk of Augusta still had referred to how attractive the sisters were, but just as sirens their strange nature and even stranger choice of clothing as if out of a Shakespearean play. Besides their questionable choices of fashion, the two sisters however did make sure not to impose their strange sense of fashion sense onto the infant Rowena. They dressed her in frilly bright clothing as to bring out her mother's curly platinum blonde hair, her father's sun kissed skin, her grandfather's bright green eyes and her father's signature crooked smile. On the outside to most of her neighbors had seemed like a normal baby girl but they knew little of the events that had perspired on the 13th night that she had been brought home.
"Honestly when will you learn that you can't keep feeding her carrots has much as you do! Do you wish for the young-ling to go blind?!!" Lydia had sternly scolded. "It's not my fault the child is such a fast grower, besides she can't just live on your breast milk to grow strong", rebottled Ihrin.
