Trevor's P.O.V

I just picked Vanessa up from the airport. I showed her around New York and sooner than later it came time to go to the show. I stood near the stage door with Vanessa who looked dumb founded.

"Are you sure this is where they told you to meet you?" Vanessa asked, confused.

"Yup. Just give it a minute," I smiled at her.

The door opened and out walked Ruby glaring at me.

"Well hello to you too Ruby," I chuckled.

"Twenty dollars or no tickets," Ruby muttered.

"But I already paid for the tickets," I stated as I raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah well that's my service fee for mom forcing me to deliver those to you," Ruby shrugged.

"You drive a hard bargain," Vanessa smirked as she pulled out a twenty, handing it to Ruby.

Ruby looked at the twenty and then at Vanessa, "Glad to do business with you."

"Right back at you," Vanessa smiled at her.

Ruby looked at her and then at me, "Don't lose this one Trevor. I like her."

Ruby then turned on her heels and walked back inside before people began to swarm the stagedoor. I chuckled softly as we got in line to enter the theater.

"Why didn't you tell me you were close with Ruby and Emerald?" Vanessa asked.

"I didn't want you to like me for my connections and not for my actual self," I shrugged.

"Awe, Trev," Vanessa sighed, "I honestly do like you for you. Do you know the whole cast?"

"Not everyone but I do know, Cameron, Liam, Theo, Ruby, Emerald, Josh and Blue," I explained.

"That's honestly, pretty cool," Vanessa smiled as she went through the metal detector.

"Thanks," I smiled back at her.

I saw Lillian, a box office worker, changing the 'Performing Today' wall from Emerald to Ruby. Uh oh. That's not good. My phone buzzed and I pulled it out. I read that it was a text from Blue.

Blueberry: Yo Trevor, I hate to ruin your date but we need someone to be with Emerald. She only wants to see you. If you don't want to, that is perfectly fine.

I sighed and looked up at Vanessa who was looking at the 'Performing Today' wall, "I hope Emerald is okay."

"On that note Blue texted me," I sighed, "Emerald needs me and only wants to see me. Are you—"

"Yes. I know what it's like for a kid to really need someone," Vanessa smiled.

"Thank you so much," I hugged Vanessa and she chuckled.

"As long as I still get to see the show I'm all good," Vanessa shrugged.

I pulled away from Vanessa and walked out of the theater. I walked to the stage door and knocked on it. The door opened and I showed the text message to the security. They let me enter and I ran up the stairs to the dressing rooms. The show opens in 30 minutes. Come on, I can make it back in time. I saw the dressing room labeled 'Blue' and knocked on the door. The door opened and I saw Emerald in the corner crying. I ran over to her and Blue closed the door and sat next to Josh.

"What's going on with Emerald?" I asked, nervously.

"All she keeps saying is 'Click' and 'Bang. Like a gun," Blue explained.

"And she wrote down that she wanted to see you," Josh muttered.

"Listen if you don't want Emerald to stop crying I'll leave," I snapped.

"No," Josh replied quickly, "Please. Do whatever it takes."

I turned to Emerald, "Do you want them here?"

She nodded.

"Okay. Ready?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Make your hand in a gun like this," I stated as I showed her.

She did.

"Close your eyes."

She did.

I motioned for Blue and Josh to stand and stood up and pulled Ruby into the room. I put Ruby on Emerald's left and grabbed a metal water bottle. I put the water bottle to Emerald's head and she shivered.

"Repeat after me Emerald."

She nodded.

"Click."

"Click," She whispered.

"Bang."

"Bang," She whimpered.

I removed the water bottle from her head and breathed in, "Now open your eyes."

She did.

"What do you see?"

'Family," She smiled as she turned to her left and pulled Ruby into a hug, "Thank you."

"Now, are you ready to go on tonight?" I asked.

"They already changed it to Ruby," Emerald sighed.

"Let me go see if I can pull some strings," Josh smiled.

Emerald shot up and pulled him and Blue into a hug.

"Thank you," She whispered.

Josh pulled away and went to go talk to someone. I stood up and was about to go walk out to see if I could still get in but Emerald stopped me.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Stay backstage, please?" Emerald pleaded.

"I guess," I sighed.

"Emerald you're on tonight," Josh yelled.

"Yes!" Ruby and Emerald yelled.

I laughed and sat down. Three hours laters and I was called up by the SM to the stage. I walked backstage just as the cast was bowing. Once they did their last bow, Emerald motioned to the board to turn her mic back on.

"Hello? Oh it's on!" Emerald laughed as some of the audience sat back down, "So normally I wouldn't do this but someone very special to me came backstage to help me out with my panic attack. He did this even when he invited a date to come see the show tonight."

Emerald motioned for me to come out and I shook my head. Emerald groaned while the audience laughed. I felt four hands on my back push me on stage. I looked backstage and saw Ruby and Liam laughing. I rolled my eyes and walked towards Emerald.

"This dude right here is Trevor. He's pretty fun to be around and sacrificed his date to help me out," Emerald then put her hand up and cover one side of her mouth like if she's only talking to the audience, "Vanessa, he's a keeper."

The audience laughed and Emerald pulled me into a hug. We all went backstage and everyone began to change out of costume. About an hour later Emerald, Blue and Ruby finished up and took me to the stage door. The door opened and my ears started ringing from all the screams. I looked over the crowd and spotted Vanessa. I walked over and she pulled me into a kiss.

That was not expected.

"GET SOME TREVOR!" Ruby and Emerald yelled, making Blue laugh.

Vanessa pulled away and smiled at me, "That was really sweet of you to do Trev."

"Thank you," I smiled, "And I'm hoping that kiss means there will be another date?"

"Of course there will be."
