I sat straight up after hearing a loud piercing ring. I looked all around the dorm room and then my eyes landed on the phone right next to me. I grabbed my head with one hand and the cell phone with my free hand. I subconsciously unlocked my phone and let my eyes adjust to the light. I had many texts and missed calls, the newest text from Joey... Joey??
-Heyy Bree, had fun last night, maybs we can hang out sometime ;)-
OOOOO Joey, the guy I somehow ended up dancing with last night.. I looked at all my other texts, all from Darren. I quickly called him to calm him down.
"AUBREE WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"Shhh Darren everything's fine, I just woke up in my dorm room, I got a ride back with Lauren and one of her friends."
"Thank God, Bree you reallly scared me I looked for u til I passed out!"
"I promise I'm fine! Just have a hangover.."
"Nothing your not used to! haha.. where did you go last night? We were dancing and then I lost you.."
"O I don't really know, all I remember is somehow ending up with that Joey guy, you know your room mate."
"Really? well that's interesting.. umm listen Bree Bree I gotta go, I needa get a shower and wake myself up, how about tonight you and I grab a bite to eat?"
"Sounds good Dare."
"Great! love you Bree."
"Love you too."
I hung up and flopped back down on my bed hoping to sleep off the buzzing in my head.
