Try Me (BTS Gang AU)

The Start

"Crystal, are you sure this is a good idea?" Amy asked from behind the car. She was dressed in all black with her blonde and brown hair tucked into her beanie.

"I'm sure this will be an easy job," I replied as I tucked my own black and brown hair into my beanie. We snuck behind a car as we saw a large gate open for a box-truck.

"Is this the place?" Amy asked as the truck went in. I pulled out my phone and nodded in response. We snuck in beside the truck and disappeared down an alley inside.

"Masks down," I said quietly before we climbed a ladder. I pulled Amy up and we looked at our prize through the roof window.

"Is that the Diamond Ruby?" Amy asked in awe.

"The one and only," I replied as I started getting out our rope and safety harnesses. Amy removed one of the window's panels as I hooked one end of the rope to a nearby pole. With Amy's help, I suited up in the harness and hooked the rope to myself. I was slowly lowered down towards the jewel by Amy. As I was lowered I looked for cameras, but found none. I smiled as I grabbed a fake jewel from my pocket and quickly swapped it with the real one. I slipped the real jewel into my pocket and tugged the rope for Amy to bring me back up. She stumbled a bit helping me out and I slightly lost my balance. The harness came off and fell into the empty space. I grabbed the window pane and struggled to hold on.

"Crystal!" Amy whisper-yelled. I felt my grip loosening and I couldn't pull myself up. I grabbed the jewel and handed it to Amy before using both hands to pull myself through. I lay for a moment on the rooftop before getting up again. Amy looked at me worried and I just nodded that I was fine. We grabbed all our stuff and climbed down the ladder. I peeked around the building and saw two guards walking towards us. I grabbed Amy and ducked behind a garbage bin, waiting for the guards to pass. I heard their radio faintly.

My eyes widened as I looked up. We were in corner C. I looked around for cameras and caught on staring right at us. I nudged Amy and she saw the same thing. We sighed and stood up.

Ready? I gestured to Amy. She sent me two thumbs up. We ran in different directions. I ran at the guards with my holographic blade out and cut both the guards. I climbed over a fence and was met with three more people. Amy and I were close...

A little backstory, Amy and I are both orphans and we grew up together. We get this 'sister tingle' whenever we're close to each other. We can basically sense everything about each other. How? I have no clue. We're just really close.

Amy zipped behind the boys and waved. I chuckled as she waved at me. I nodded to her as we each took out the end guys. That left one to go. That guy ran off wailing.

"Scaredy Cat," I muttered,. Amy giggled. We ran at the gate and saw it was closed. I pointed to the closest building to the wall and she nodded. We climbed the ladder to the rooftop and stood on the edge. We both saw tons of guards gathering beneath the building.

"Now or Never," Amy said as she looked at the 10 ft jump to the wall.

"Ready," I said getting in position.

"Set," Amy said doing the same as me.

"Go!" we yelled as we ran off the building and jumped onto the wall. We landed successfully and tumbled to the road on the other side. I scraped my knee and winced as I got up, but I didn't have long because cars ran out after us. Amy and I ran to our motorbikes and sped off. We split up again to lose the cars, but they split up after us.

These guys just won't go away.

I swerved with my bike onto a busy street and looked back at the cars. I saw within a window a guy with blonde hair and lip piercing. His eyes glared at me as he sped up. I smirked and slowed down. He pulled up beside me and lowered his window.

"You pissed off the wrong people," he said.

"Oh did I?" I said in a light-hearted voice.

"Hah, do you not know who I am?" he said.

"A big shot who thinks he can out race me?" I guessed. His jaw clenched.

"I'm Kim Namjoon," he said. The color drained from my face as I knew who he was.

Who the fuck would want to steal from the biggest gang in the country?

I played it off cool.

"And that means exactly what?" I asked.

"That means I'm the leader of the biggest gang in South Korea," he replied cockily.

"If you were that popular I would know you, Sweetheart," I replied. "I'd love to chat more, but I have a package to deliver." His smirk dropped.

"Give me my fucking jewel," he demanded.

"Bye Sweetheart," I said with a wave before speeding ahead and going down a narrow alley. A good ten miles away, I pulled around the back of our house and parked my bike in the garage. I saw Amy on the couch with a soda in her hand. I pulled out a beer and closed the fridge door; Amy just waved her finger at me and I groaned.

"No beer for you miss," she said.

"Come on Amy. It's one beer," I replied before grabbing a soda and plopping next to her on the couch.

"One beer my ass. Last tune you had one beer that led to 10 other beers and you passed out in the kitchen," she replied.

"It was one time!" I threw my hands up in frustration. She giggled before leaning her head on my shoulder and taking out the beautiful gem from tonight.

"When do they want it?" she asked.

"Tomorrow at noon. They set up a reservation at a cafe," I replied.

"So casual clothes then?"

"Yup, better get your jeans out girl," I said. She rolled her eyes before getting up.

"I'm going to shower then sleep. I'll see you in the morning Crystal," she said before yawning and walking out of the living room. I held the gem in my hand and ran my fingers over the smooth edges.

Beautiful, but I have to let you go like the rest of them.

I snapped a picture of the gem before putting it into a briefcase and storing it under my bed. I took the photo and put it in an album along with the other photos of things we had stolen for clients. I tucked the photo album into my drawer and changed out of my mission clothes, pulling my warm pajamas over my head. I plugged my phone to charge , hopped into bed, and turned out the lights – falling asleep slowly.
