"What are your thoughts about it?" Andres asked. We were currently walking after finishing the talk with Sergio, he suggested to have dinner at some place and of course, I never refuse when it comes to food.
"Well, never in my life have I thought that I'd be part in any of this. I don't really know how to feel because I know it'll be a lot different when we will be really on action." I looked at him. The cold can be seen as he exhales through his mouth. "But you know, I've already had a bit of an experience, thanks to you." I told to him and gave him a wink.
"Yeah, thanks to me, you already had your warm up." he replied with a chuckle. As I looked at him, I noticed his mouth started chattering. I untied the scarf around my neck and removed it to hand it to him. When he saw what I was doing he stopped walking and I stood in front of him.
"What are you doing?" He asked. I wrapped the scarf around his neck and tied it. The maroon color of my scarf actually fits with his black attire. "Your mouth is chattering like crazy, you're obviously cold." I told him as I finished putting on the scarf and started walking again.
"But you're gonna be cold now then." He replied. I chuckled at him and saw that his mouth stopped chattering. "You may be the strongest between the both of us in the field of stealing, but you know whose stronger against the cold weather." I gave him a smirk.
We both entered this fancy looking restaurant where you can immediately guess that a piece of potato with parsley on top would cost you fifteen bucks. I asked Andres why we would be eating here when there's no occasion.
"Don't worry, my treat. Let's just say it's a thank you gift from me for you agreeing to be part of the heist." he told me as he took my coat for me and pulled the chair for me to sit. I thanked him and gave him a smile. This is one of the reasons I love him. His sweetness. All of us girls know that a gentleman would totally win us over than just a handsome one.
A waiter handed us the menu, and we ordered our food. We were seated by the glass wall of the restaurant where you can have the view outside with the street lamps and people walking. Right across the restaurant is a clothes shop with a winter themed clothes displayed. Andres was already looking at the shop and started putting on his coat.
While he was putting on his coat, I asked him where he was going. "I'm just gonna go to that shop and buy something, Ly. It'll just take a moment." he said and exited the place.
I watched him through the glass as he crossed the street. He must've seen something he liked on the display. Well, our food might take some time too. So I sat there and looked around. This place is actually beautiful with the chandeliers in the ceiling and the candles. People were dressed accordingly to the place, and I'm glad my outfit today was not too off for this place.
I was looking around outside when suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see the owner, but I was confused when I don't recognize who this person was. You can clearly see the wealth of this man with how he's dressed. He's also not bad to look at. He gives me this McGregor kind of vibe with his beard. I would've started a conversation with him if not only with the scent of alcohol reeking off him.
"What might be the reason of lady as pretty as you sitting here all alone, Miss...?" he said, anyone could clearly hear from the tone of his voice that he was a bit tipsy. And from what I've learned from going to clubs is that a drunk wealthy man never talks to you just to talk about the latest news.
"I'm sorry. You must've been mistaken. I came here with my friend." I answered him politely. I didn't answer his question about my name. Of course, all of us were taught about how to deal with strangers.
"What? Is your friend invisible? Cause I ain't seeing any friend you're talking about." he said as he waved his around and his body started to sway a little bit. And he still has the decency not to remove his sweaty hands on my shoulder.
