The Perfect Day

Noah was a 13 year old boy.He was intelligent but he was naughty or sometimes sassy.His life was really beautiful.He,dad and mom would joke and laugh all day.They would share everything and solved their problems smiling.But one day all lights faded.His mom and dad had an argument.Big enough that they got separated.Soon his father found another lady and his mother found someone who was more capable for her than Noah's father.They both got divorced.
Noah moved to Bradford with his dad.He was sent to a school where he had no friends.Noah wanted to tell his dad but his dad was busy in playing with his new wife Anne and her recently born daughter Aliane.Noah looked out for his mom but she had her own family.Noah was completely ditched.He wanted a day—A perfect day,a magical day.Little did he know that the day was just lingering in the corner.

Noah,though,made one friend.A man in his late 20s whom he met on a store,the man called Christopher.Christopher and Noah used to meet and talk on the same store everyday on Noah's return from school.Christopher came out to be a scientist who had just completed a potion—An invisible potion,in case you are wondering.
When Christopher told Noah about this,Noah's heart missed a beat.He had just had an idea!
"Where can I find it?"Noah asked.
"Not launched yet so keep it a secret."Christopher replied.
Noah nodded and whined,"Can I try it,please!"
"No,no.As I said it isn't launched yet."
"So what?I need it,please Christopher."
Christopher shook his head.
"Please.Pretty please!!"
"FINE.But please keep it a secret."
The following day Christopher handed Noah a bottle."It can only be used once.Gulp it down and the be still for a minute.It is bitter but don't drink water.It gives side effects.Its results can be seen for 8 hours only.Enjoy mate!"
Christopher went."Uh-Thanks,thanks a lot."
Noah went home.His stepmother was in the living room playing with Aliane.Noah went to her."Anne?When will you go on that one month trip to Ireland?"
"Tomorrow."Noah went to his room.His dad came home at night.Noah ran to him.
"Dad!Hello!!"
He hugged his dad."Hey!"His dad smiled but broke free from the hud hurriedly,"Where's Aliane?"Anne give him Aliane.
"Oh my love!My most precious possession!Daddy is back.Daddy loves you more than anything."
Noah's smile faded away.He gathered his fake smile to ask his dad,"Uhh—Dad,Who is going to Ireland?"
"Sorry love.Only me,Aliane and your mom are going."
Noah got angry,"You mean Anne!?"
"She is your mother Noah!"
"My mom is Johanna!You can't just bring an outsider and dub her my mom.My mom was way better than her."
"Watch our your tongue Noah!"
"You are not even my dad.My dad used to consider....."Noah got got quiet.He was about to say 'me' but he didn't want to show that he was feeling alone because his dad might think of him as jealous."My dad used to consider truth.He loved no one but my mom,my genetical mom.Not an Irish babysitter."Noah stormed to his room.Next morning,his dad woke him up."Noah we are going.I have called the babysitter."
"I am not a baby anymore.I can take care of myself."
"I don't care.You are just 13 years old."
"You just want to humiliate me!!"Noah shouted.His dad went.Noah groaned and went down.The door bell rang.It was his babysitter.Noah had never dealt with a babysitter so it was his first experience.In movies,he had seen that the babysitters were cruel.
"So you're the baby,huh!Your dad told me that you are a bit rude."Noah just looked down."Listen young boy,You don't know yet what I do with rude kids."
Noah let her in and asked,"May I go to school."
The babysitter nodded.Noah went to school.It was 8:00 am so he thought that if he drank the potion now he will be invisible till 16:00.He drank it.He slowly got invisible.....ooor did he?
He tried to look his reflection on a car skin then he took a look on himself to make sure.
"OH MY GOD IT HAPPENED!!"Noah was overjoyed.So much that he hit the door of his school.He went inside.He sneaked into the headmaster's room and switched the seats of 2 best friends.He said to himself."If I sit alone,so will everyone."He went to his classroom and whistled loudly.No Response.He snapped his fingers."Don't!" The teacher warned.
He pushed the class monitor,who was so proud,off his chair.Everyone started laughing.He just proudly got up,brushed his clothes and sat on his chair.Noah went to the class bully and snorted loudly.The teacher turned around,"Who was it?"The class pointed towards the bully.
"No doubt it is you!"
"But it wasn't me!"
"DETENTION!"He sighed.
Noah roamed around the school.Suddenly he got another idea.He cheated the upcoming tests.He made weird noises and played pranks on kids in the washroom.
Then he left school and went to the park and threw popcorns on the little kids.Suddenly,he had another idea.He went to his house and played as if he was a ghost with the babysitter.By 15:00 he went to the school,took his bag which he hid in his cupboard,and came home visible.
He was really happy.For the first time in his dark life,he experienced freedom.He entered his house and saw that the babysitter was gone.Noah smiled to himself.She had run away because the house is 'haunted'.
Suddenly,he felt guilty.What had he done?He had humiliated someone,he had made someone got detention and he made many little kids cry but most of all he had scared the babysitter his dad sent for his care.He even disheartened his stepmom by insulting her and shouted in front of his dad.Actually he was angry at his dad for he had not taken him to Ireland but by now all his frustration was over.He texted his dad:
Noah: Dad?
Dad: I'll text you later
Dad: I am busy
Noah: The babysitter left
Dad: Why
Noah: I don't know.
Dad: It can be because of your ill behaviour.
Dad: I knew it.
Noah: I went to school.
Noah: Came back to see she was gone.
Dad: Oh my!
Noah: Don't worry,I'm fine.
Noah: Please I can live alone.I am a teen now.
Dad: Fine,if there'll be any problem tell me.
Noah: Ok bye.

At night,the bell rang. It was his dad.
"Dad?You are back!"
"Yeah I was worried about you." They came in.Noah went to his room.After a while,his dad went after him.The door was ajar.His dad looked inside slowly.He saw Noah crying l.He had a picture in his hand.His dad couldn't see of what.Boah was complaining,"Why?Why did it had to happen?Oh dad,why did you do it?When I looked for you mom,you were not there too.Weren't we a family?Weren't we supposed to be happy and together?"
Noah put the picture on side table and cleaned his eyes.His dad saw that the picture was of them three:he,Noah and Johanna.His dad came in.
"Dad,couldn't you knock?For Peat's Sake!"
"What's wrong with you Noah?You have been really rude now and then!"
Noah began to cry."There's a reason dad.We three lived happily,bit now I don't know why you both left me.I am lonely dad.The music stopped.FOREVER!"
His dad quiet for a minute then hugged him.
"Dad,I hugged you many times but you used to break free to meet Aliane.You spent your whole day with her and Anne."
"I am sorry love.i I have been really harsh towards you.I left you alone.I thought you were fine with it.I had seen so involved in my new family.I practically kicked you out.Please forgive me my love,I am sorry."His dad began to cry too.
"No problem dad.I made you and Anne disheartened too."
"No matter how much I leave you alone I am always coming back for you but I have made a mistake.I have ruined the brightest smile,your prettiest smile.Forgive me."
"Dad please,it's okay.After all we are all humans.But now clean those tears.Pretty please."
They both laughed.
"I want to tell you something but don't tell anyone."
Noah told his dad about today.And his dad laughed.
Noah thought that it was The Perfect Day.Because from then,they lived happily.
Don't you think that sometimes a little delight can make a day perfect and sometimes all you need is a warm hug to mend your broken heart
