Secret (SR)

It was a long case, a really long case. It was a long stressful case and everyone was just ready to relax. I'm listening to music, Morgan and Prentiss are playing a game on their phones, Hotch and Rossi are reading over paper. Jj is texting Will and Reid is sleeping.

Reid is my boyfriend, no one knew and it was going to stay that way. We met before I joined the BAU so it was a shock when I joined. We agreed to keep it secret and not let it affect us professionally.

We work so well together that we almost constantly get teamed up together while in cases, which we don't mind. I get to see him and he gets to see me. This was one of the cases where it was busy that we barely got to see each other.

I look up from my phone and notice people looking at me. I took off my headphones so I can hear what they are saying. The second my music is off I hear it, my name. The culprit is Spencer. Sleeping Spencer saying my name in his sleep.

"Uh, Sarah?" Morgan asks. I look at him. "Why is pretty boy saying your name?"

"I don't know. I'll see what's going on," I say, hoping he wasn't saying anything that would out us. I go over to him and it takes so much power to not kiss his cheek. Instead I kneel down near his head, and gently shake him. His eyes fluttered open and I was the first thing he saw.

"Sarah?"

"It's me Spence, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, why?" He asks.

"You were saying my name while sleeping," I explain. A strand of his hair fell in front of his eyes and I couldn't help but brush it out of the way.

"I always dream of you," he says, starring into my eyes.

"You always dream of her, pretty boy?" Morgan asks, of course he has to comment. Reid sits up and looks around.

"Uh, yeah, I dream of the team, us on cases," he stutters through his excuse. Since he and I have been dating a while, I catch on to the little things and I notice the sudden increase of his breathing. I sit on the chair his head was on and look at him.

"Hey, it's okay, ignore Derek,"

"Hey!"

"Focus on me, it's okay." I say. Once I notice his breathing back to normal, I turn around and at this point everyone is confused.

"Agent?" Hotch asks. I sigh and look at him.

"Yes?"

"Is there something going on between you and Reid?"I sigh again.

"I met Reid 2 years ago,"

"But you joined the BAU last year," Prentiss pipes in.

"Yeah, he and I started dating before I joined the unit. When I joined we sat and talked it over, deciding that if it doesn't affect our work that we can keep it a secret. Well, it was going good for a while now," I say, glancing at my boyfriend. His head is down. I turn to face him and put my hands under his chin. "Hey, Spence. Look at me," He glances up.

"You're going to be fine, Spencer."

"I'm not worried about me, I'm worried about us. You're the best thing to happen to me." I can't help but kiss his forehead.

"No matter what happens, I won't leave you. If I have to, I'll leave the BAU. You were here longer and you love this job. I won't leave you," he leans in and kisses me.

"Agent," I turn around to Hotch. "You are both fine, no one is leaving the unit. You guys can obviously work together and not let it affect the field so there shouldn't be a problem," he explains.

"Thank you, Hotch. I really appreciate it," I say.

"So, pretty boy's getting some?"

"Derek!"
