Running through the trees gave me time to think of what I planned on doing, it’s obvious that Lakota not only cares for me but also pups that aren’t even his. I smiled at that thought as I continued through the woods, as I ran I allowed Lakota into the family link so he should have two links one of the pack and also one of the pups and I, I heard tons of chatter from the twins they were talking to each other trying to help me with what we planned on doing, I laughed when Lakota almost jumped at the sudden noise in his head, I chuckled before picking my speed up so I would reach home about the same time as them. I was suddenly stopped by a group of wolves the leader was a worn out looking old wolf but I knew who this was, Takoda, a general from my families military before I could talk to him, I suddenly felt pain throughout my face knowing that something had happened to my pups. Takoda I don’t have time to deal with you, we will talk later; with that I bolted over them and took off deeper into the forest pushing myself past my limits to quickly reach my pups.

Michel and I were waiting outside near the trees for mommy she should be here soon, and we didn’t want to be inside with a bunch of strangers; with the only one that we knew was Lily and Lakota. I heard someone talking behind us I turned my head to see three terribly dressed she wolves, they are what I believe mommy has called the pack whores, they smelled of sweat and of many men. Mommy always says that no matter what to never turn out like them, to just stay true to your mate. “Hey kids where is that mother of yours, we want you off our lands before night and so that your mother isn’t a distraction to my Lakota.”

Michel was steaming, he knew that mommy was Lakota’s mate; before he could say anything I did. “We don’t have to go anywhere, Lakota said that we can stay as long as we want to, and it doesn’t help that he likes mommy.”

Michel smirked at my comment but suddenly the lady rushed forward slapping me open-handed causing some scratches from her fake nails. I cried in pain, before Michel could shift mommy rushed from the trees snarling at the lady pushing her away from Michel and I. Lakota rushed from the house a moment later, the lady rushed to him crying that mommy suddenly attacked me and her, mommy growled at her before curling around Michel and I, she did this to help control her wolf and to make sure that we weren’t further harmed. Lakota’s father and sister came out soon, Lily rushed towards us and mommy looked at her before just laying her head back down. Lily climbed in beside us to help keep Michel calm. Lakota and his father came over to us mom growled at the stranger but let Lakota closer, but she growled when she smelt the female on him. He slowly raised his hands, “Rose you need to calm down I understand that she hurt Mia but don’t worry I’ll make sure that she is punished for what she did but you need to calm down first.”

I looked at him and linked him I need clothes before I can shift, he nodded having a warrior go to collect clothes. He returned a moment later, I reluctantly lifted myself to my feet but I knew that bitch wouldn’t do anything while Lakota was there or I might shift again and kill her. I know that the penalty for doing this was certain death but I wouldn’t care since I knew Lakota would watch over the pups. I quickly changed to see the bitch being restrained as she was fighting to reach the pups, “You claim that she is your mate, but she already has two pups that aren’t yours and pack law states that pups that don’t belong to the male are to be killed.”

I growled at the girl but looked for my pups instead, Mia was clutching to the back of Lakota’s legs and Michel was near Lily who was surprisingly keeping him from attacking the bitch, “I don’t care if they aren’t mine, my mate is happy to have them, and if she’s happy then I’m happy and I wouldn’t trade or get rid of these kids for anything.”

I smiled at Lakota before the bitch shifted and jumped at me as soon as she noticed that I had returned, I smirked at her as I simply dodged her taunting her with every evade that I did. She was getting angrier and angrier but I kept her from attacking anyone besides me. She finally got me pressed against a tree but I jumped into the first branch as she slammed into the tree; she howled in pain before turning and rushing off. Her blind rage drove her to almost attacking a pup; but before anyone could act I was crouched in front of her, pup in hand and holding the bitches paw with two fingers. I sat the pup down and watched as she rushed to her crying mother, before glaring at the wolf in front of me. SHIFT NOW
