"It was on a moonlit night like this..." Jack muttered to himself, gazing up at the open night sky.
The moon was full and bright, the stars twinkled in the deep blue sky above.

Jack would often gaze at the night sky from Neo Domino's Tops district, with the perfect view atop his penthouse flat. It was a view fit for a King - the star of the show. That was Jack. A star, a King. Every night, for the two years he had been in the City, he would watch the night sky. No night was as perfect as this, however.
It was the same moonlight, the same twinkling stars, as he had seen the night he left Satellite.

It was the same light as that night he left Yusei.

Back in Satellite, their home, Yusei revved his make-shift engine once more.
Rally and his friends were cheering as the sounds echoed throughout their hideout.
"A-are you gonna do it tonight, Yusei? Are you gonna get to the City tonight?"
Yusei silently nodded, pulling his helmet on and activating his visor.
"Satellite's Shooting Star is gonna shoot into the Neo Domino City, our hope is finally gonna light up the city!"

Yusei glanced up through the glass visor, looking through the cracked ceiling of their hideout at the night sky.
The moon was perfect, it reminded him of that same night. It was the same moon Jack was following when he fled to the city. Yusei was about to travel the same moonlit path as Jack, but not to escape.
He was going to get chase Jack. He would finally confront him about the night.
The moonlight was beckoning him.

It wasn't long until Yusei was being followed and challenged by Trudge, the officer was desperate to lock Yusei up for good this time.

But Yusei was skilled, determined, and easily outduelled Trudge, leaving him quite literally in the junkyard.

The moon was still watching.
It seemed to shine brighter, and Jack gripped the handles of his runner tightly. Something about the moon was calling to him.
In an instant, Jack spun his bike around and rode the track down to the lift of his penthouse flat.
Mina, his admiring secretary, ran out to him as he headed to the exit, calling.
"M-Master Atlas!! Where are you going? Are you finished training?"
Jack didn't pause his engine, riding into the exit as he replied to her.
"The moon beckons me."

Under the moonlit sky, the two stars twinkled brighter. They were closing in on each other, orbiting like circling dogs ready to pounce at each other. The moonlight was calling both stars closer. The closer the stars are to each other, the more blinding the light is given off.

And as Yusei broke the barrier between Satellite and Neo Domino City, and as Jack travelled down the highway, following the moon's calls to trace his journey back from two years ago, the light of the two stars was exceedingly blinding and bright, burning, emanating, resonating...

What would happen when the two stars collide?
