Min Yujin

I'm woken up by a knock on my door. I stand up groggily and make my way to the door. Before I can process anything, I'm engulfed in a hug.

At first I assume it's my dad, but he's to thin to be him. And his scent...and my dad isn't supposed to be home.

"Oppa?!" i squeal as I pull away to confirm my assumption. I see his gummy smile and go in for another hug. "You're here?!"

He gives a laugh at my excitement. "Yes, I am."

I almost cry while hugging him. I've missed him so much, needed him. But it's okay. He's here now. But for how long?

At this, I release him. "When are you leaving?"

He gives an apologetic smile. "Tomorrow night."

I pout. I want to complain and all, but what can you expect? He's a KPOP idol. Him being here is already pretty difficult.

He notices my expression. "Come on, we can spend today and tomorrow together, up to the very last minute," he tells me.

I try for a smile. I don't want him to feel bad. He tries really hard. It would be unfair if I didn't try to understand. "The very last?"

He holds up his pinky. "It's a promise." My smile widens and I lock my own with his. He messes up my hair and we go down to have breakfast.

"So what do you want to do today?" He asks me as he cooks food.

"Hmmm..." i look out the window thoughtfully. What would be fun and easy to do? After a minute of silence, I  clap my hands excitedly. "Food and movies!!"

He looks at me sceptically. "The whole time?" I nod.

"I have so many things to watch and dramas to finish," I pout. "Please?"

He rolls his eyes and nods. "Fine. But only after we go to buy you some new clothes," he says.

I frown. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?" I ask as I look down at the old, faded shirt of his I'm wearing and an old pair of his basketball shorts I found in his box for giving away.

Ever since he became busy and left, I began using his clothes. They offer comfort in more than one way.

He sighs. "Those are old clothes. Did you grow out of your own? Why didn't you get new ones?"

I shrug. "I just find your clothes comfortable. I honestly prefer guys' clothes. Yours specifically."

He looks up in thought. "Okay, we'll buy you guys' clothes, but new ones."

"It doesn't work that way. You have to wear it to make it better."

"But you look like a homeless person."

I might as well be. "My friends don't mind." Friend. "And I don't wear these shabby clothes when I go out anyway. I wear the less faded ones," I laugh.

He shakes his head. "We're getting you new clothes that you will really like, and I'll give you some of my current ones when you move to Seoul so you don't look like a hobo," he tells me sternly.

I give a resigned sigh. "Fine."

He shows a face of accomplishment. "Oh when are you moving to Seoul, by the way?"

"Maybe a week before class starts? I think that's when dormers can move in already." But I want to leave now. I don't want to be left alone here again.

He smiles. "I'm happy you'll be close by. I'll make sure we'll see each other often."

I try for a smile too, hoping it will lift up my actual mood.
