Dahan dahan kong inalis ang pagkakayakap ko kay Arkin at hinarap si Miguel.

"I'm not Samara.", I tried to keep my voice steady para hindi nila mapansin na I'm obviously scared and worried.

Nakita ko ang pagtigim ng bagang ni Miguel habang masama akong tinitingnan. "Even better, I thought I'll be catching Samara red-handed pero mas malala pa pala ang madadatnan ko dito. My fiancee, with another man, cheating on me."

I gave him a deadly stare. "Cut the crap Miguel, you don't own me nor my sister."

He laughed bitterly, he was smirking while playing with a gun on his hand. Napalunok ako, I'm screwed. I even involved Arkin without knowing it.

"Oh really? Samantha, Samantha. How naive.", he sarcastically laughed.

"She was never cheating on you because she's initially my girlfriend.", narinig ko ang pagsagot ni Arkin mula sa likuran ko. He tapped my shoulder to calm me down pero ramdam ko ang lamig ng mga kamay niya.

"Arkin, stay our of this.", bulong ko sa kaniya. Hindi ito nakinig sa akin at hinarang niya pa ang katawan niya sa harap ko, nanliit ako dahil sa tangkad niya. He was covering me and I'm not liking it. Miguel is twisted, his family is also powerful that he can kill us here without no one knowing.

"Brave lad. She's engaged to me and I'm quite pissed to see her here with you.", matalim niyang tiningnan si Arkin at tinutok dito ang baril.

"Don't you dare Miguel!", I shouted at him pero he didn't bulged. 

What the hell have I done!?

"It's a good thing that Arnold told me everything as well as that little maid of yours."

What?! Alice!? 

Napahilamos ako sa mukha ko, narinig ko ang mahinang pagtawa ni Miguel. "Don't be so angry Samantha, I already took care of her for you." 

Nanlaki ang mata ko sa narinig ko. "What the hell did you do to Alice?!"

"Malalaman mo din 'yon. Rats like her deserve hell. She always help my dear Samara to sneak out and meet with that asshole, she's the reason why Samara got pregnant."

"You're a monster Miguel.", I told him coldly. Nakita ko ang pag-ngiti niya, he's insane. I can't believe my father entrusted me to this demon!

"That's a heavy accusation dear. Let me be nice for once, you choose.. Me or him?"

"Are you stupid!? Of course I'd choose Arkin over you!"

He gestured one of his personnel to grab Arkin's arm, I tried helping him to escape but Miguel stopped me. "One wrong move and I'll blast his head Samantha."
