Look at me and see who I am
My smile hides all the pain I keep inside
I'm knee deep in my misery
and my soul has turned to stone
My tears freeze
in this cold emptiness
I could open myself
If anyone could see
See what lies within my scarred shell
I could pour my broken heart out
If anyone could gently kiss it
I could give my frozen hand out
If anyone could take it and soothe me
See me and kiss away my pain
Pick me up from the cold floor
Where I lie
Where I cry
Pick me up
Before I drown in tears
