“Stephanie!!!” James yelled, her father. “Do you want to be late for your first practice?!”

“No! I can't find my boots!!” Stephanie called back.

“They’re down here by the door silly goose.”

“Oops, sorry but those aren’t my lucky riding boots.” Stephanie said frantically looking through her closet.

“You'll be fine sweetie, get down here!”

“NO! I AM NOT GOING TO PRACTICE UNLESS I HAVE THE BOOTS MOM GAVE ME BEFORE SHE DIED!” Stephanie yelled, simply throwing herself down the stairs in tears.

“It's okay Steph, I call them and just say you're having a rough day.” James said as he watched his daughter continue to cry as she looked behind the couch.

“I FOUND THEM!!!!” Stephanie exclaimed as she wiped away her tears and slipped her boots on then swooped out the door.

“Let's go dad, we're gonna be late!” Stephanie laughed.
Stephanie is 6 and is heading to riding practice. Her mom's 4th birthday gift to her was, when she was old enough, she would be signed up for riding camp. It came with the boots.

Stephanie's favorite thing about the boots is they can be adjusted from size 4 in kids to size 6 in teens.

"Dad," Stephanie started, "Why did mom give me this gift so early?"
"That's a good question pumkin. She gave you them early because she had to sign you up super early or you may not have gotten in."

"Oh" Stephanie said with a small smile.
