Luke's P.O.V:

Beep. Beep. Beep.

"Luke?" Ashton's voice was hoarse from sleep.

"Hello Ashy." I smirked.

"Why did you call me at two in the fricking morning?"

"I want to take you out."

"It's two o'clock in the morning!"

"Shall I take that as a no?" I asked

"Ughhhh. Just because it's you, Luke, where are you planning on 'taking me out'?"

"Now, now. That would mean ruining the surprise, wouldn't it?" I smiled. "I'll pick you up in ten minutes."

I quickly got out of my flat, locking the door behind me, and into my car. This would be perfect.

The drive to Ashton's house was quick, and I knew I couldn't knock, otherwise I would wake his family. So I climbed the tree next to Ashton's bedroom window (with some difficulty) and knocked on it.

Soon enough, Ashton opened his window.

"Luke?" He whispered.

"Hi Ashy." I grinned at him.

"What are you doing up here?" He shout/whispered.

"Well I couldn't knock on the front door, and phones are overrated."

"You used a phone to ask me out."

"Shut up, and get down."

"Okay, I'll go inside, meet you in your car."

So, I climbed back down the tree, stumbling off the last meter. I jogged to my car and turned on the heating while waiting for Ashton.

I heard the passenger door open before he got in the car, and we shared a quick kiss, before driving off.

"So where are we going?"

"Not telling. It's a surprise."

Ashton huffed, but looked through the window and didn't pose further questions. I wanted this to be perfect, because I loved Ashton.

After a while of driving, we were finally there.

"We're here."

"Hmmmm?"

I left the car and ran over to Ashton's side, to open his door for him.

"Thanks Lukey." He thanked me as he walked out.

"Wait."

I quickly retrieved the blanket from the back seat and took Ashton's hand in mine. We only had to walk for a minute and we got to the destination.

"Oh my Gosh, Luke! This is beautiful!" His smile was big, showing his pretty dimples.

We were on top of a large hill, overlooking our city. The city lights were bright and shining, a beautiful sight. Darkness surrounded the town, and you could see forests far into the distance. The stars were completely visible in the night sky, and a crescent moon was on the rise.

We sat down on the ground, placing the blanket over our bodies to keep warm. Ashton laid his head on my shoulder and whispered.

"Thank You."

~A/N: I completely changed the context of the lyric, sorry! This was the only way I could interpret it so it fit what I wanted to happen in Luke and Ashton's relationship.  I kinda like the idea though, I hope you do :)  ~
