Chapter 13

Jack's POV

The anticipation crawled all over my skin, waiting for her answer. May it be good or bad. Oh, but how I want her. How I want those azure eyes staring straight into mine. Nothing more would I love for her hands to roam throughout my body. Once the shock had disappeared, she began to speak.

"Jack I love you-" I cut her off.

"But you can't be with someone like me forever? A monster?" I hung my head. Letting the reality swallow me and the sorrow drown me. She smacked my shoulder.

"No! Let me finish!" She smirked at me, but not one that would usually turn me on. The one that makes me want to cuddle with her. Wrap her up in my arms and never let go. So I listened carefully.

"Jack, I love you. I know I'm only 18, only starting a few hours ago." She chuckled and shook her head. I only concentrated on the sound of her voice laughing, that laugh that only I, I knew, could bring out in her.

"But I guess thats why they call them risks, Right?" She continued, obviously waiting to hear my answer. I slowly nodded while walking toward her, the velvety box still in my hand. I snaked my hand around her waist. And the other on the back of her neck and dipped her.I lifted up my mask so only my lips were visible. I smashed my lips against hers. I moved my lips in sync with hers, letting her lead the kiss. There was a sound of clapping and 'awes' throughout the room. I gently pulled away and yanked her back up with the hand around her waist. I took her hand and went down on one knee.

"I love you, Princess." I slipped the ring onto her finger and stood up to peck her lips. I stared into her eyes as I whispered,

"Forever."

"And always." She responded. She looked at the ring, twisting is to get a better look. A wide grin tugging at her lips as she admired the ring.

Luna's POV

An excited looking Hailey walked up to Jack and I, whose arm as possessively still snaked around my waist.

"Oh my gosh, Lun! We have to start planning your wedding! The dress, food, cake, son-" She stopped short, then continued as if she were thinking of something amazing.

"Will I be apart of the wedding?" she said with hope in her greenish brown eyes.

"Of course Hail!" I said while looking up at Jack.

"You're my best friend, you're obviously the maid of honor!" I told her.

She squealed and ran off to Jeff, Im assuming to tell him her part in my wedding. He smiled at her, whispered something in her ear to make her blush, then pulled her in for a kiss. I sighed and smiled. I looked up at Jack who was having a conversation with Slendy, who seemed to be pretty wasted.

"Woah, take it easy there, Slendy." I teased, gesturing to the amount of drinks he had had. He only smiled at me, if he had facial features.

"When you have brothers like these," He pointed to the slendermen on the couch wrestling for the last piece of pizza.

"You'll need all of the alcohol you can get, child." He raised his glass in mockery and walked over to the his siblings. I looked up at Jack.

"I love you so much." I said staring into those empty pits of death and despair, but yet I thought they were the most dreamy of eyes. He lifted up his mask, once again, only to reveal his pale lips. A smile tugged at the corner of it. As he was leaning in, I playfully turned my head so his lips would land on my right cheek.

I then ran, with Jack following close behind.

"I'll catch up to you sooner or later, princess!" he yelled from a close distance. Once I began to grow tired I slowed down a bit. Jack finally caught up to me and wrapped his arms around me and spinned me.

"I guess Sally didn't do that great of a job of ranking up your speed." He lowered his voice to a deep husky tone. His breath melted against my skin and sent shivers down my spine. I pulled on the hem of his shirt so he was at my level.

"Maybe you should do your own speed check, Jacky boy." I winked at him, using my best seductive tone. We heard a loud crash and screams from the party area. We looked at each other and withdrew our weapons. My stars and blades came out from within my wrists. Jack gripped his scalpel and larger blade in both hands. We nodded toward each other and moved to the dining area.

We found broken glass and blood on the floor. I glanced over at Jack who seemed to be putting the pieces together in his mind. I moved closer to him, beginning to grow a bit weary. He slyly smiled and said

"Don't worry, I'll protect you." He said heroically. I giggled at the sudden confidence.

A loud scream was heard from upstairs. That sounded like Sally. I need to save the closest thing to a daughter i have. I turned to Jack.

"That sounded like Sally. I need to save her." I said, determined there was no way he could talk me out of it. I kissed his cheek and pounced on each stairs, without making a single thud. Once I reached the top of the stairs, I saw a large figure with crimson red horns, a black, with blood red dipped ends, cape on draping over his body. The figure turned around.

Zalgo.

I saw Sally sitting in the corner back and forth with her eyes greener, and brighter then ever before.

"Let her be, I know it is me you want, Zalgo." I spat, fiercely ready to kick his demon ass. My laced dress stuck to me from the swear beaming down my body. He grinned turning towards Sally.

"I'll make a deal with you, Princess." He said in mockery, while picking up Sally at the hem of her dress. Her head was bleeding and her legs were all scrapped up. I knew she was trying to protect me. But, instead of protesting and risking Sally getting hurt, I nodded, listening to what this failure has to say.

"I'll let this.... creature go," He said with disgust as he glanced at Sally.

"If you come with me, to the underrealm." He stated, proudly. He knew what he was doing. And he knew exactly how to get it. I was rummaging through ideas until something clicked.

I nodded, to make Zalgo let Sally free. She scrambled to her feet and ran towards me and collapsed in my arms. I stroked her hair, comforting her.

"Okay listen Sally, I need you to tell Jack and the others Zalgos plan." I felt Sally nod her head against my shoulder. I felt her breath shaking against my skin. I pushed her off gently as gestured toward the steps. She hesitantly looked back at me then Zalgo. She looked at me one last time before running off. I watched until she was out of sight. I turned back to Zalgo who was waiting with the portal open. He grinned widely at me with his ragged teeth and razor sharp edges.

"Ladies first." He gestured. I scoffed, crossing my arms. I knew if i protested he would kill me.
