Silver The Hedgehog was known through Mobius as the Hero Of the Future. After days on end with never ending revelations of Shadow being his Father, and him being abandoned after Maria died and the Flames Of Disaster took over, he felt like he was still six years old. Making his way through Station Square he ran into Sonic who was apparently doing groceries for Amy.
"Here, lemme help with that." said Silver as he raised his hands using his telekinetic power to raise Sonic's groceries. "Heheh, thanks Silver!" said Sonic.
"Not a problem!" Said Silver. "Whats with the heavy load?" He asked.
"Agh... amy wanted to make a cake for Sally's coronation and *phew* boy... she wasn't lying when it said this cake is gonna be big..." said Sonic, setting down his groceries. Silver chuckled.
"Amy is known for the massive cakes... think i found a cake shop of her's back in my timeline." said Silver. The two hedgehogs shared a laugh. Then Sonic asked: "you holding up ok buddy? Yknow... after Blaze dying and Shadow being your father?"
"Them? Yeah... I'm fine. A lot to take in though. Shock with Sadness, that has been hard. But Maria and Amy from this timeline counsel me sometimes whenever i feel like i want to tear up my own house." said Silver calmly. "Dude, you're surprisingly calm, youre scaring me" said Sonic.
"Sorry... its just. I dunno how I'm this calm when my fist should be hurting so much. But then again, my hand just got better after throwing the Death Egg to the outer limits of Mobius Space... starting to think that was a bad idea." said Silver, clutching his hand. "Well... hope you feel better soon. Ill see you at the coronation!" said Sonic as he ran off with the groceries. Silver sighed deeply after a minute. The thought of Blaze dying to the enemy he longed so hard to defeat didnt bring him any joy or remorse. Rather regret. Lots and lots of it.
"Why couldn't it be me? Me out of all people... but Blaze... what she did... she saved my life and my timeline SHE deserves my credit... not me. I stood there like an idiot... hesitating when i know i have to pull through... mabye Dad was right... either youre 'perfect' or youre not me..." he said to himself.
"I'm not like my father... I'm a different Hedgehog..."
