Just The Beginning

Eren's POV

I'm on the second floor as I see distance explosions where the Lincoln Memorial should be.

"Do you think they brought more titans?" I ask

"Hell yea." replies Reiner

"Are you ready then?" I continue asking

"Nearly, just give me 5 more minutes." says Reiner

"Me too." says Annie

"Imma need 7 minutes." implies Ymir who was taking care of Bertholdt

"We definitely know Bertholdt is out of the equation." I imply

"Yea, but at least we are getting reinforcements from the Rangers." says Reiner

"Hell, they might not do any help." says a soldier who was on duty on this floor

"How come?" I ask

"I was in the Rangers before I got secretly recruited into the Sentinels. The Rangers are great but they aren't as skilled as us and I'm saying this from personal experience." says the soldier

"Then what about the Marines? The Navy Seals?" asks Reiner

"The Marines are a bit better than the Ranger, Navy Seals are way better than the Rangers, but after all, we are still a lot more skilled than any military force, even Delta Force." says another soldier

"What were you before you got recruited to the Sentinels?" I ask him

"Me? I was in the Marines until I tried out for the Navy Seals and got in. Stayed for like 4 months until I got recruited here." continues the soldier

I nod my head from the information and look back out the window to see a missile heading right towards us.

"INCOMING!" yells Reiner

I ran back into the room and jump onto the floor just as the missile hits the House. The impact blows me off a bit and shakes the entire House. My ears are ringing from the sudden loud noise and I didn't have my headsets on at the moment.

I slowly get up while clinging onto my ear, I walk outside to see the whole floor was destroyed like a big hole straight up in the middle of the House. The bodies of the soldiers are gone, completely, all that was left was blood on the walls on some parts of it. I put back on my headset and helmet just in case another missile hits.

"Eren are you okay?!" I hear someone call out to me on the first floor

I look down the hole on the floor and see Captain Ghost on the first floor, looking up at me.

"Yes sir." I reply

"Good, get ready, we got more incoming." replies Ghost

I go back into the room to see Annie picking herself up. Reiner is already up and checking the computers.

"Shit they're attacking the Washington monument!" yells Reiner

"Marksman, give them some covering fire!" yells Ghost

I hear loud gunshots from the roof, sounds like a 50 cal sniper rifle.

I look outside to see flashes of gunshots near the Washington monument.

"We got incoming from the West!" yells Reiner

I look outside to the Sentinels stationed outside began to turn west and fire back at the incoming forces.

I see enemy transport choppers in the air on top of the field. They began to drop ropes down so they can grapple down onto the field. But before they began to send down soldiers, missiles came from the top of the White House and took out the enemy choppers.
