Hello, everyone. As much as I want this to be a chapter updated, I have to be brutally honest. Because I am considered an essential employee, and have full-time college and having to move out, I haven't done much in the writing department as of lately. While I do have some chapters ready, I want to be sure I am able to somehow keep a relatively stable updating schedule instead of posting two in a week, then being gone for two weeks. I hope you all understand I am trying my best, and I know the last thing you all would like to hear about right now is the Coronavirus. I promise I will do the best I can, and I still am. I'm sure you want to look for something normal, but you can't quite find it here just yet. No worries, I will work on a way to try and maintain a sense of normality at some point. It's just not right now with adjusting and all the responsibilities I have, as I am sure plenty of you do.
I also want to add that after careful consideration, I will be altering the story. I found it sloppy, and for a cool, collected and mysterious figure such as Opal, I found it too quick for her to lighten up to a bunch of strangers in her situation. Elements will be similar, such as the time it takes place (around when Johnny is jumped), and characteristics of Opal, albeit much more solid in formatting, or so I hope. Through this, it will take longer than I had anticipated, but I think I made myself a good start before everything went downhill.
I hope you are all staying safe and relatively sane. Please remain cautious, and stay healthy. Make sure you guys at least go outside when you can, and make sure to keep yourself in check and to take care of yourselves. Don't let yourself slip just yet. I care about you all too much, despite not knowing many personally.
Thank you all so much for (hopefully) understanding, and I hope you all remain in good health and spirits.
Best of luck,
Worst Case Scenario (I have never hated this name so much than I do now during these times lol)
