You darted up in the hospital, seeing Haru and Chitaru at your bedside, they also darted up upon hearing you take a deep breath upon waking up.
"Y/N! You're awake!" Haru said happily.
"Am I dead?" You asked with heavy breaths, seeing nothing but white around you.
"You're in the hospital. I was so worried!" Haru and Chitaru replied at the same time.
"Is everyone okay? Did everyone make it?" You asked seriously as your memories rushed back to you.
"Everyone's fine. We're just happy to see you alive! You took one hell of a fall." Chitaru said as she hugged you before she realized what she was doing.
"Speaking of being out, how long was I-"
"You were out for five days. The doctors were really surprised that you survived past the first hour." Haru said as tears welled in her eyes.
"Are you okay?" You asked cautiously, suddenly feeling a strange attraction to her.
"I thought I lost you forever... I thought we all did..." She said through a sob while she wiped her tears away.
"You're awake! How are you feeling?" The doctor said with surprise upon walking in.
"I'm a little stiff, but otherwise, I feel fine." You said casually.
"You will be. Considering the height of the fall, I'd call your injuries moderate. You lacerated all the ligaments in your upper back, as well as spraining your shoulders, your wrist, and your ankle. You also suffered a hefty concussion. It's a miracle that you actually managed to get yourself out of the canyon." The doctor said seriously as your flashbacks kicked into overdrive.
"So what time do you think I'll be out?" You asked curiously.
"We can discharge you after the end of the weekend. For now, you're staying right here." The doctor replied.
"Great stuff. Thanks, doctor." You said casually, wincing a few moments later, causing the doctor to turn around.
"Are you experiencing any major pain?" He asked seriously.
"Yeah, all along my arm, and in my side." You said cautiously.
The doctor walked out, though you could still hear him talking outside.
"Can we get some Morphine and Ibuprofen in room number six?" He said seriously.
A few seconds later, the nurse entered the room
"Get ready for a trip, dude." Chitaru said with a chuckle.
Just before you were about to reply, the nurse injected the painkillers and the anti-inflammatory medicine into your IV. A few seconds later, you still never felt anything.
"Huh... it's not as bad as I thought." You said casually, then your whole body started going numb and you began to flap your tongue around after a minute of the medicine entering your bloodstream.
"This feels funny!" You said while giggling like a highschool girl and poking your tongue.
"He's so tripping several balls right now." Chitaru said with a giggle.
"Did I ever tell you two, how much I absolutely love all the ladies! And all the ladies love me!" You said nonchalantly while pointing around.
"Is that so? Tell me about all your girlfriends." She said with a giggle.
"Well, there's the one girl at the fishing spot, and the other girl who always comes to visit... and I'm all alone!" You started crying.
"Morphine is one hardcore painkiller, so bare with him, for he literally knows not what he says." Chitaru whispered to Haru. "Don't worry man. You're not completely alone. We've got your back." She said in an attempt to get you to calm down.
