Chapter Eighteen

Namjoon's Point of View

"What happened bro?!" I immediately asked Jimin once I pulled him to the back of the building.

"I-i don't k-know... I-it just..." I stopped him from talking. I patted his back so that he can calm down. "Everything's so fast, Joon." He said, teary eyed.

I hugged him then rubbed his back. "We know you didn't do it. We believe in you, bro." I said. He's still crying at my chest.

"I-i don't w-want Jeongyeon to g-get mad at m-me..." He said between his sobs.

"She won't. Trust me." I said then hugged him again. The rest of the boys approached us then comforted Jimin.

They're just comforting him when I tapped Taehyung. "Bro, where's Jeongyeon?" I whispered.

"Maybe at the canteen with the girls." He answered then I nodded. I headed straight to the canteen then saw them. I sat next to Jeongyeon who's silently looking down.

"Jeong..." I called her then she hummed in response. "Are you okay?" I added. She looked at me for a couple of seconds then stood up. "H-hey what----" She cutted me off by pulling me to the garden of the school.

When we reached the garden, there she bursted off her tears then shouted with all of her might. The garden is big enough and no one will hear her. She got tired that she fell onto the floor. I immediately ran to her then hugged her.

"It w-wasn't supposed to go t-this way, Joon..." She said while crying.

Wasn't supposed to go this way? What does she mean?

I just continued comforting her until she fainted because of crying.

"Jeong's deciding so suddenly." Jihyo said while arranging her clothes in the wardrobe.

Jeongyeon asked Jihyo a favor if she could switch rooms. She said she doesn't want to be roommates with Jimin anymore. Instead, me and Jihyo became roommates, then Nayeon and Jeongyeon, as well as Jimin and Seokjin.

"They really got the cheating issue a serious one huh?" I said as I sat right next to her then wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

She leaned to my shoulder. "Yeah. Their friendship was affected." She said then I nodded.

We were silent for a moment when I suddenly remembered what Jeongyeon said earlier at the garden.

"It wasn't supposed to go this way, Joon."

I got more confused as it repeats in my mind, the phrase that Jeongyeon said while crying earlier at the garden. "Jeongyeon said something earlier." I said that took Jihyo's attention.

"What is it?" She asked then I told her everything that happened in the garden. "That's really confusing. I'll just ask Jeongie about it. Let's sleep." She added then kissed my cheeks. I nodded then headed for my bed to sleep. But I can't.

I stood up and went to kitchen where I saw Jimin drinking. I immediately ran to him then took the alcohol he was drinking.

"What are you doing?!" I shouted at him. He didn't even say a word. I sat in front of him. "Park Jimin, I'm asking you." I said calmly. He looked up to me then threw the glass he was holding causing it to shatter on the ground. I sat next to him then pulled him close to me.

"I lost her. I lost her because of that leakage!" He shouted at my chest. I just patted his back. I sensed the other boys peaking at us and I signalled them to go back to their rooms and I will handle him.

"Just give her some space, bro. When everything's okay, then talk to her." I told him while patting his back.

I was just comforting him until he fell asleep in my arms. Argh how can I bring him up to their room?

I slowly took my phone from my pocket then dialled Seokjin's number. It rang several times before answering with his newly awaken voice. "Aish, Joonie. Why so early huh?!" He said.

"Get up. Here in the kitchen. Jimin's drunk." I answered while looking at Jimin.

"You're ruining my beauty rest. Aish." He said before ending the call. I felt his heavy footsteps heading towards us. "What happened to our Mochi?" He asked while wiping his eyes.

"You know. The issue of the cheating. He and Jeongyeon took it seriously." I answered.

"Ah. That's why he switched rooms with you. Aish. Let's bring him up. I don't want my beauty rest to be delayed." He added then went close to us then helped me carry Jimin upstairs to their room.

We threw him to his bed then covered the blanket to him. I was about to leave when he mumbled something.

"Hmm... Jeongyeon..."

"This guy's really inlove with that boyish girl huh." Seokjin said before going to his bed.

Yeah. Jimin is really inlove.
