If you know me, you know I'm Australian and I understand Aussie slang, BUT I'm going to use hardly any because it's such a playful funny thing and I don't want that in more serious parts, okay, I hope ya like it...
Australia's P.O.V
I was lying on my bed, panting heavily. The room spun as I tried to process what just happened.
'I haven't seen them in years, why now and why had they done it like that?' My vision began to darken, I saw them again.
"****** ***** and **********, why?" Then it all went black.I thought I saw the devil, this morning.
I pushed myself up, I was panting and sweating. I squinted my eyes as the light beamed onto my blue skin.
I heard someone sprint up the stairs and watched as they kicked my door open, rushing to me and harshly grabbing my face.
"Zea, stop!" I growled, the country sighed, taking his hands away from my face, instead putting them on my legs.
"Australia, are you alright? You were yelling last night and wouldn't wake up." My older brother told me.
"I'm fine and sorry for waking you up..." I mumbled. Zea pulled me into a hug, I smiled slightly and hugged him back."Is there anything you want to talk about, Aussie?" Zea asked gently. Images of ********** and ****** ****** flashed in my mind, but I couldn't explain it to Zea, I can't properly describe what I keep seeing, but it's horrific, every time I think back to it I want to cry and vomit. Tears trickled my eyes, gently rolling down my face and plopping on my Doona. Zea pulled me into a hug, again and this time I hugged tighter, trying to get in full breaths.
"What's wrong?" NZ asked, I shook my head, doing that laugh you do when you're upset and are trying to reassure not just the person you're talking to, but also yourself.
"It's nothing, Zea, I just... Remembered Steve." Zea looked at me confused
'Zea, please, you're about to enrage an entire continent, please don't tell me you've forgotten who Steve is.'
"Do you have a snake called Steve, or did you just start playing Minecraft?" Zea asked,
"New Zealand, I love you but, oh my Bushfires, you're so stupid-"
"Hey!-"
"Steve Irwin."
"Oh my sheep, I'm so forgetful, I THOUGHT YOU STARTED PLAYING MINECRAFT BEFORE I THOUGHT OF ONE OF THE AUSSIE LEGENDS! I'm going to go downstairs before I start forgetting what I prime minister is." New Zealand said to me,
"That damn coward, Sco Mo." I hissed, then waved at Kiwi as he left me alone.Hiding in the mirror
After five minutes I pushed myself up and sluggishly went to the bathroom. I wash my face and stared at myself.
'I'm ugly.' I said to myself, focusing on my damaged eye. It was all kinds of red with cross as the pupil and a scar to match the horrific look. Whenever I go outside I'd at least get one dirty look from a Karen. Everyone didn't think that I cared about the looks and remarks, but I do, I hold onto what would be spoken about me and/ or the look or shear disgust at my appearance, I'd let my emotions bottle up, until I got home and when I did I would run to my room and just cry and no one suspects a thing.I finally snapped out of my trance, grabbing a contact Lens and some concealer, hiding away my scar and my damaged eye.
A/N okay, sorry it's short This is my first fanfic published.
My chapters will be longer, I promise.
Also, New Zealand is older than Australia, no complaining. Australia is considered a Country, Island and Continent (it's true, and I saw something that said Australia was considered an island-country landmass for tourism, I don't removed when it was made, but Australia is a technically an Island.) 666 words, m8!
Ciao for now!-Keef
