The descent from above was worse than he thought it would be, but what followed was just as terrible. The way his flesh burned off, the cracking of the bones beneath the muscle, it was all too much to bear. Being cast out of Heaven and thrusted into the pits of Hell was a fucking nightmare. His gorgeous white wings were burned off slowly while he fell, the feathers slowly turning into ash. The bones ripping from his back was, well, there wasn't really any way to explain how painful having a part of your body teared off felt. The breaking of bone. The ripping of flesh. Fuck it was absolutely horrible.

The impact of hitting the ground knocked him out for a good minute or two before it began to crack beneath him and he was suddenly falling further into the dark depths of what could only be Hell. Screams and cries could be heard all around as the fall continued and the change into a demon began.

A charcoal grey color began to replace the once smooth skin he once had in paradise. Sharp nails formed underneath the old nails as they fell off the fingers and soon his screams joined those of the souls trapped here. Long curved horns started to grow from his skull, bones broke only to reform, turning his body more lanky and shallow instead of the strong muscular one he once had. Sharp teeth replaced the ones from when he was in Heaven.

He hit the ground once more, screaming in pain as the skin on his back started to split open to emerge new large wings. They weren't that beautiful elegant white like the ones he was used to, these were torn and skinny. Like the flesh under the feathers of a birds wing, or that of a bat. The dark black reddish feathers slowly covered the bat like wings, his shoulders trembling, aching in pain.

"Oh? Looks like we have a newcomer."

A voice spoke near him, his hearing was much sharper than what it once was. His body shook as he cautiously started to stand up, legs wobbling trying to get used to the newly formed bones beneath the grey skin only to stumble into a wall to help support his body.

"Damn, he must've really pissed off the boss man upstairs to get sent directly here."

That was a new voice.

The first one spoke once again, this time a face came with it as she stood in front of him. Her grin only widened while she looked him over.

" Well ? What's your name, new guy? You do remember that much, right?"

Name?

Yeah... that's right.

He had a name.

What was it...?

"K-Katsuki... Bak-ugou..."

Being cast out of Heaven wasn't as bad as he expected it to be. Well, aside from his wings and grace being torn out, it could've turned out much worse. He woke up in the middle of a field, or at least it was one now after he had fallen there. The trees surrounding him had been ripped from the Earth, the grass completely dead, probably from the impact of him colliding with the ground. His memory was beginning to fail him as he desperately tried to remember what had happened before he and-

He sat up fast, eyes darting around the field frantically. Both of them were cast out, but during the fall they were separated. He had lost sight of him falling when his wings were torn off. His memory was slowly failing and it was beginning to scare him more and more as images of his face faded from him.

No. He can't forget. He has to remember his life as an Angel. He has to remember his life with him .

Voices were approaching him, probably the humans who owned this land who witnessed him falling. To them it probably looked like nothing more than a falling star. He was shaking, cold, naked, and afraid. He fought as the memories drifted from him. Actual tears streaming down his cheeks.

This can't be happening. This was a nightmare. A bad, awful dream. No. No. No. NO!!

"Ochako, you gotta see this! All the trees have been completely ripped from the ground and- holy shit . Ochako! You better bring some blankets too!"

That was a males voice though he couldn't figure out his name. He used to know the names of all of these creatures. It only made him cry more. The footsteps came closer and soon he knelt in front of him.

"Hey, are you alright?"

A second pair of footsteps approached and a female voice followed it. "Izuku don't touch him."

Cloth draped his cold body, welcoming the warmth. She spoke again, this time her arm was wrapped around his shoulders. "Are you alright? Do you have a name?"

Name?

Yeah... that's right.

He had a name.

What was it... ?

"S-Shouto... Todo-roki..."
