Y/N was a breath of fresh air for the shy and kind cameraman. Andrew was never 'looking' to date, especially with how busy he was with filming and editing Shane's videos and planning new ideas together. The two met when Morgan had popped over at Shane and Ryland's house to pick something up with Y/N when they were on their way to lunch.
As soon as everybody laid eyes on her, they automatically liked and felt comfortable around her due to her warm presence.
The more that she hung out with Morgan, the more she was around the squad. This made a certain redhead very happy. No matter what, the two always gravitated towards each other. Whether it be them sitting next to each other on the couch or them having the same Starbucks order. It got to the point where Garrett even contemplated making a 'Y/N and Andrew being a whole couple for 17 minutes' video. If Morgan ever came over, he would subconsciously look behind her as she entered the door to see if Y/N was trailing behind her and when she wasn't, his eyes dulled a little. This wasn't unnoticed.
"Wow, don't look so excited to see me, Andrew," Morgan laughed.
"Oh, uh no. I wasn't- "
"No, no, it's fine. I know how you like to have Y/N around, she's working today though so you're stuck with me," Morgan cut him off. This caught Andrew off guard at how Morgan had noticed.
"Wait, oh my god Andrew. Do you have a crush on Y/N?" Shane asked. This caught the attention of Garrett and Ryland who were in the kitchen.
"Aw, Andrew! Please say yes or I'll cry," Ryland exclaimed.
"I mean, I don't think it's like a crush or anything. I just think she's very attractive. Wait no, I don't mean like her body and stuff, that sounds so sleazy. It's like, you know, she's just a super likeable person," He stumbled over his words a couple of times and became quite nervous talking about her.
"Okay. First of all, you're literally lying so hard right now," Garrett butted in.
"Wait, what do you mean?" Shane asked. By this time, he had pulled his phone out and started secretly recording. You know, just in case.
"Andrew, are you okay if I say this because I don't want to, like, expose you or anything in front of everyone." Garret asked, not wanting to hurt his best friends' feelings. Andrew nodded, not wanting to keep secrets from his friends. "Okay, so remember the other day when Morgan texted to the chat that her and Y/N were coming over and then randomly, Andrew and I came over like ten minutes after them even though, it was his day off?" The group nodded.
"Yeah, we were literally in the parking lot of a cinema to see a movie and then he practically begged me to come here instead of the movie! And that's not all, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram and he stared at it for literally five minutes." At this point, everyone was freaking out.
"Morgan, do you know how Y/N feels about Andrew?" Ryland asked. This question made Andrew so nervous and he was contemplating walking out of the room, afraid if she didn't feel the same way towards him. Morgan took a deep breath.
"Okay so, when I first met Y/N she went through a horrible breakup. He cheated on her, he would lie to her about being sick when in reality he was just smoking weed with his friends. Like, he literally tried to hook up with her best friend at the time and she sent Y/N screenshots and that's how she found out about everything. She used to post a bunch of covers on YouTube and ALL of them after the breakup were the saddest songs ever. Then she met Andrew and she started singing covers to the cutest love songs you could think of." Morgan said and everyone was left with their mouths open in shock. They didn't know any of this about their new friend.
"Does she still have the videos up? I had no idea she could sing. That's tea." Shane questioned. Morgan nodded and took the remote for the TV and searched up her channel. She didn't have many subscribers at all because she rarely promoted her channel. The covers were her own little secret and just an outlet she used.
