Chapter 25: Ninja at the Recording Studio

Tim: Okay Josh, I'm going to work with Olivia 1st. Do you have your ukulele?
Olivia: Oh! It's in the car-
Josh: I'll go grab it! *
Runs to car and grabs it* I HAVE IT! ITS RIGHT HERE!
Olivia: Thank you so much Joshy *laughs*
Josh: *I laugh* No problem
Olivia: *Ok, you got this Olivia. You just have to sing. You do that all the time. What is so different about this? Maybe because you're singing for a show and not just your window. Ok, not helping Olivia. Olivia, don't be mean to Olivia. I really need to see someone. *laughs*
Tim: Let's start with "I Think I Kinda You Know"
*We walk into the recording studio and Josh stays outside the door*
Josh: *I sit at a chair by the door and listen to you sing*

Olivia: *sings* So much has happened think of what we've done in the time that the earth has traveled round the sun. Winter spring summer and we're back to fall. We've been together hand in hand through it all. From the minute we kissed and my heart skipped a beat. To the night that we danced I was swept off my feet. Sure as every year has to come to an end I'd going round the sun with you again and again and again and again. *continues*
Josh: *I sing along quietly* I think I kinda you know, I think I kinda you know, like the way that we flow, like the way that we go and I love I think I kinda you know
Olivia: *Gets to end of song* Can't help dreaming of you, guess I'm saying I don't not love you, you know you know you know. *finishes*
Tim: That was great Olivia. I want you to focus on your breathing patterns, but other then that I have no notes.
Olivia: Awesome, thank you! I'll try my best!
Tim: Okay lets run it again and just focus on that.

*We do the song again*

Tim: That was amazing. Your so talented and I'm so happy your on this show... I'm just so excited. *I laugh*
Olivia: Oh thank you! I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. I'm so excited to be on the show. I feel like it's going to be so amazing and I'm just stoked to play a part in making it what it is.
Tim: Ahh I am so happy to see my little fantasy in my head turn to reality.
Olivia: *Smiles*
Tim: Could you tell Joshua to come on in? I'm gonna work with him a little then I'll work with both of you on the duet version.
Olivia: Sure! *Oh hey, umm Tim wants to work with you and then we are going to work on our duet.
Josh: Great! Oh and you sounded amazing by the way. Not that I was listening or anything...*I laugh* *Josh, why did you just say that? What the heck! Now you sound like a freaky weirdo*
Olivia: Oh um okay. Thanks Josh. I appreciate it. Maybe I'll listen to you- I mean no I won't listen to you. Definitely not. Your voice- ewwww gross..... Wait you know I'm kidding right? I didn't want to be rude, I was just trying to make a joke and now I'm explaining it so now it's not even funny... You know, I'm going to go scroll insta. Have fun!
Josh: I knew what you meant Olivia. *I laugh*
Olivia: *Okay, so I guess we both are in a weird mood* Okay good. And just so you know, your voice is incredible... amazing... unlike anything I've ever heard. So go kill it Joshy. *I laugh*
Josh: Thanks Liv, except its nothing compared to yours... *I laugh* *I close the door*

Olivia: *Don't fall, don't fall, don't fall, don't fall, don't fall... shoot, I fell for him. I mean he's so kind and he cares and he- no, Olivia stop. You have a job to do... don't let your feelings get in the way.*

*Meanwhile*

*Olivia gets up and walks to the bathroom.*
Olivia: *I pull out my phone and call Sofia.*
Olivia: *on the phone* Hey Sofia.
Sofia: *on the phone* Oh hey girl, what's up?
Olivia: Well I'm at a recording right now with Josh and I'm waiting for him to be done with Tim so we can work on our duet
Sofia: Oh yeah that song! It's so cute. Matt and I head down in about an hour or so. So what's up?
Olivia: Huh?
Sofia: You called me?...
Olivia: Oh yeah um, I'm having an emotional crisis...
Sofia: OH NO! What's wrong!
Olivia: I don't know, I think I might be developing feelings for someone and-
Sofia: Josh?
Olivia: How did you know?
Sofia: I may be the youngest but I'm not blind Olivia. It's pretty obvious you guys have A LOT of chemistry and it wouldn't be surprising to me if you liked him
Olivia: Really? I'm that obvious? Great, now he probably knows and things are going to get awkward. Stupid Olivia-
Sofia: I don't think you're the only one who caught feelings...
Olivia: What?
Sofia: Have you not seen Josh look at you-
Olivia: I-
Sofia: But it is really obvious. I think you should tell him.
Olivia: No way! He just sees me as a little sister-
Sofia: I don't think he looks at his sisters like that... also I don't think he wants another one either... *laughs*
Olivia: Whatever, I just- I can't. Not right now anyway... Thanks for the advice though.
Sofia: Always, now go do your thing lover girl!

Olivia: *hangs up* *What am I going to do?* *I walk out of the bathroom*
