(Y/n) was headed to this bar off of Route 66 Engie told me about, apparently a buddy of his owned it. The town looked pretty much abandoned when she got there, but the bar seemed to have people in it, so (Y/n) figured she must have found the place. She walked in and got a weird stare from an Omnic with different colored eyes, but I just ignored him and went up to the bartender.

"Well hello there, lady," he said to (Y/n) with a small smile. "Never seen you around here before."

"Dell recommended this place to me." She sat down at a stool. "I need some alcohol that isn't Scrumpy."

A wide grin spread across the man's face. "Ah, that Dell. He actually helped me build this place. I'll get ya a beer right away."

"Make it as big as ya got!" (Y/n) called to him, to which he waved before headed into a back room. She sighed and took off her motorcycle helmet and placed it on the bar before shaking the hair out of her face. She then got out her phone and called Dell.

"Sup, sis?" He answered almost immediately.

"Just letting you know I made it bro, so you can tell Heavy not to worry too much."

"Heavy was not worried!" Called a voice in the background.

"Then why've you been spending the pass 3 hours pacing and polishing your Miniguns?"

"Heavy accidentally drank Scout soda."

"Oh god, that ain't good," (Y/n) said. "What color was the can?"

Engie relayed the question. "The pink and purple one."

"Okay, then hopefully you'll be fine." (Y/n) sighed and shook her head. "Listen, I'll call ya tomorrow when I'm on my way back. You guys worry to much. Love you guys!"

"See ya soon, sis."

Engie hung up, probably worried about Heavy now, and the bartender came back with the beer. He gave (Y/n) a weird look.

"What?"

"Dell is your brother?"

"Sort of," She responded, taking a swig of the beer. "My birth family was shit except my uncle, and he helped me get away from the rest. The mercs found me, and made me a part of their family as their little sister."

The man shook his head as (Y/n) took another long drink of beer. "Dell always was a standup guy. Glad you got out of that. Next round is on me." He went and got another glass from under the counter to take back to the back. "Tell Dell he still needs to pay his tab."

"Will do." (Y/n) sighed and took another swig of beer before her reflexes made her duck as a throwing knife embedded itself in the shelf of the bar area in front of me. She turned around and saw the thin Omnic chuckling while a guy in a cowboy hat and tank top sheepishly walked over, hopped the bar, and grabbed the knife before grabbing a few beer bottles and hopping back over. "Really?" She asked him.

"What?" He has a southern accent similar to Engie's.

"Your just gonna take the beers?"

"Well, yeah. You gotta problem with that? We already payed for like fifty, Paul just brings them out to us as we finish em. And right now he's in the back getting you another jug of beer."

"Whatever helps ya sleep at night kid." (Y/n) downed the rest of her beer. "And tell Heterochrome over there to watch his aim."

"You got quite the mouth on ya, little lady." He smirked as he walked back to the group, they were all staring at her, she just shrugged. The thin Omnic came over soon after.

"Listen, miss..." the Omnic trailed off.

"(y/n)." This guy was giving her the creeps.

"Well, Miss (y/n)," he replied in a cocky tone. "I wanted to apologize for almost hitting you with a knife and offer you a drink as an apology."

(Y/n) gave the Omnic a sour look. "How about you just leave me alone and we call it even."

The Omnic chuckled and went to place his hand on (Y/n)'s thigh, so she summoned the Diamondback and pointed it under his chin. (Y/n) instantly heard three more guns get pulled, and saw out of the corner of her eye that the half the people from over there had pulled out guns. The only people who hadn't were the platinum blonde, the cowboy from earlier, and the big Omnic.

"Why don't you go back to your friends before I see what happens when I put a sapper on sentient tech?" (Y/n) had produced a sapper with their other hand, and the device sparked whenever it got near the Omnic.

"T-That won't be necessary, miss," the Omnic stuttered as he quickly backed up. (Y/n) glared at him for a few more seconds before putting away her weapons and pulling out the black rose, flipping it in her hand. As Paul came back out from the back with her beer, the platinum blonde from the group came over and sat next to me.

"Sorry about Bars," she said to me quietly. "He thinks too highly of himself."

"Ain't that the truth." (Y/n) continued to chug her beer.

"My name's Ashe, and I was wondering if I could get to know you a bit better?"

(Y/n) carefully looked at Ashe out of the corner of her eyes. "I'm here for a couple days, so why not?" (Y/n) finished her beer and turned to face Ashe. "The names (Y/n). Nice to meet ya, Ashe."
