"Big bruder! Big bruder!" I woke to hear my
little brother banging on my door to my new room. I yawned and sat up running my hands through my dark brown hair. I open my door to see my little brother who looks just like my mum with his curly bleach blond hair. I smile "Hey Manny! How are you this morning?" He turns to the right and motions for me to pick him up. "Manny I'm over here" Yes he's blind but I love him just the same. He pouts then jumps into my arms. I chuckle and spin him around and his giggles and shrieks fill the house. "Boys! Breakfast get your butts down here you dont want to be late!" My mum yells. I put Manny down "Wait here let me get dressed" he nods then plops down against the wall. I go to my closet and grab a navy blue short sleeve shirt and a plaid button up over it. I grabbed my bag and my black beanie. I open my door, grab Manny and rush downstairs to the smell of bacon and eggs. "Honey, can you take Manny to school today? I have to be at work early" my mum asks me when I get to the kitchen. I nod and grab two plates stack them with bacon, eggs and toast. After eating my mum kisses my head. Yes I'm shorter than my mum I'm 5"5 and she's 5"7. I sighed and she giggled "Don't worry you'll grow" then she burst out laughing. I pouted and crossed my arms "It's not nice to make fun of people" she tried to stop laughing but failed "Awww...if you keep pouting like that you'll have no problem getting a guy" I blushed scarlet "Mum!" She just rolled her eyes and pushed us out of the door. "Don't be late and remember to talk to Mannys teacher about him getting help!" I waved behind me and unlocked the car. I buckled Manny into his car seat. "Do you think the people will be nice at my new school?" I chuckled "Of course Manny they will just adore you, what's not to like?" He giggles "I love you Fernando!" He yells "I love you to Manny!" I yell back. We arrive at his school and I walk him in only to run into a little boy and his mother. "Hello! I'm Sebastian! What's your name?" I chuckle when my Manny turns to the wall "Hello I'm Matthew but my bruder calls me Manny" I turn him to Sebastian and whisper into his ear "This way" he nods and waves. "Why were you talking to the wall?" Sebastian asks by his mums face she was both embarrassed and just as curious. "Well I was talking to the wall because I'm blind!" His mothers face softens "Oh is this your son, did the girl leave him with you?" What? "Oh.. No you have it wrong this is my little brother" she nods. Sebastian grabs Mannys hand and drags him off to the classroom "I'll be your eyes Manny okay?" Manny smiles so big it looks like it hurts "That's great thank you!" I smile and wave "Bye Manny I'll pick you up at four!" I turn around only to get stopped by Sebastian's mum. "Are you new to Saratoga? I'm Belle" she sticks out her hand and I take it. Two minutes later and I have accepted and invitation to the Marleys' for dinner. I looked at my watch and I had twenty minutes to get to the school. "Well I have to get to school" she looked up from her phone "Oh what school are you going to?" "uh..Ritchwood High" she brightens up "My daughter goes there, I'll tell her to meet you at the gates she is the one in the blue glasses, she's quite attractive so don't get any ideas" she says winking. I blush "oh no ma'm I'm gay" I froze oh my god I didn't just say that. She paused "Oh then well, you get along so much better she needs someone she can talk to besides her mom!" She says chuckling. I nod slowly she's not freaking out. "Well bye" she waves and I get in my car. I drive off and three minutes later I drive up to this massive school with black gates and students littering the yard. All of a sudden I start to freak out. What if they find out I'm gay and beat me up like they did in my old school. Stop just stop being crazy alright they'll love you. Right? I walk up to the school. Then I see a girl in an over sized sweater that says "don't judge me because I'm beautiful" and a boy who was carrying books and wearing thick rimmed glasses holding her hand. Then I realized they were running towards me. "Are you Fernando?" I nodded she smiled "awesome I'm Macy! This is Todd" she pointed to the boy holding her hand. Before I could say anything she blurted out "you are so adorable! Oh my goodness!"
