I see the light in your eyes...(identity v Eli x Aesop)

Chapter 1

Eli walked towards the manor that match was hard they lost. He sighed then walked thought the doors of the manor he got half tackled by one his friends Nabi. He felt a nuzzle on the top of his head 

Nabi said to him,"Tough luck out there today Eli?"Nabi chuckled a bit looking at the dark brown male.

Eli sighed and said,"Yeah Most hunters have it out for people like us" He smiled a bit looking at Nabi.

Nabi said,"Okay, lets go to my room"he Lead the other to his room where they usually hanged out the whole friend group.

Eli said,"When was the last time you even got picked for a match?"He sat down next to him he felt like his friends didn't get picked nearly as much as he did. He took of his blind fold he blinked a few time to get use to the bright light after a whole day of the blind fold.

Nabi said,"I think 3 days ago it's all by chance well not really the master of the manor picks but know has ever seen him or what"

Eli said,"Sometimes this place is comparable to hell."

Nabi said,"Heh yeah tell me about it but it is what it is we'll make the best out this place as we can for now at least."

At that moment Emily and Emma came into the room the other 2 of the small friend group they made. Emma smiled at them and Emily said,"I saw the match Eli you okay"

Eli smiled,"Heh yeah i'm just a bit shaken up after it i'm use to it at this point"

Emma smiled as her happy and optimistic self she exclaimed," That's good to hear!" 

Eli looked at them as they sat down on the floor he said,"Was that the last match of the day?"Praying it was and he didn't get called down to join another match.

Emily said,"Yeah I think that was the last match of the day the hunters sure did there job today I was in the nurses office almost the whole day"

Eli said,"Yeah most of them don't like us but even the few that do don't take it easy with us in matches."He Held his owl, Brooklyn rose in his hands he already took off the first layer of his cloaks off so he wasn't sweating bullets.He was one the weirdos out the survivors it wasn't normal to see in the future and people just though he was weird in general.

Aesop was in the first match of the day along with Tracy, Victor and Eli He was decoding a cipher when someone came to help him he looked down not seeing who his fingers stumbled on a cipher then soon after he did it again. He was stopped 

Victor said,"Hey uh buddy maybe you should calm down for a hot second no worry it's just me"He gave a shy smile at Aesop

Aesop almost jumped away but he manged to take a deep breath then give a shaky smile then said,"T-thanks Victor"

Victor got done with the cipher and then said,"Stay safe Aesop"He smiled slightly before running off.

Aesop walked to find a new cipher he felt his heart beat go off then he ran to a locker shunting him self into it. He held his breath as a hunter walked passed the locker passing it he stayed in the locker shaking

Eli was on the last Cipher he got done with it as all the other ran off. He noticed one still left some where on the map who was it...Aesop the embalmer he looked around the map for him no sigh of him he looked in the lockers and soon came across Aesop he pulled him out and said,"We got get out of here come on!"Even if Eli didn't want to be here he want going to leave someone here alone with the hunter.

Aesop woke up from his fear He looked at The seer he got embarrassed for needed to be helped. It made him look slightly weak.

Eli got to the gates not waiting any longer before running out with Aesop He caught his breath as soon he was close enough to the manor to be safe from the hunter. He walked towards the manor and Emily came to him. Emily asked him,"You okay Eli?"

Eli said,"Yeah i'm fine you don;t have to worry about me so much Emily"

Emily sighed and said,"I swear you get picked for matches to many times"

Eli said,"Eh that just with my luck but goes around has come around it'll change in time"He got Brooklyn Rose off his should and into his hands then said,"Has a new match stared yet?"

Emily said,"Yeah i think Nabi and Emma are in a 2v8 match wanna go spectate them? it should have just stared " 

Eli nodded and then said,"Yeah sure lets go"He gave her a fast smile then walked with her to the spectating room.
