How did my life end up like this? Well, I'll tell you the story. My name is Kylie Potter (yes this is my real name no I don't like Harry potter) and ever since I was three years old I had a best friend. His name is Chris. Chris brown. Yes the famous singer Chris brown. But he wasn't always a famous singer, cause that's what most people think of him as these days. He was my best friend. People always think that if you're a girl and you have a best friend that's a boy, you have a crush on eachother. That wasn't true for me and Chris. We loved each other a LOT, but it was a friend kind of love. We were always there for each other, and even when Chris became a famous singer, I was always there for him. Let me start from the earliest time I remember where Chris and I became closer than usual:

"Hey Chris?"

"Yeah?"

"What are we gonna do for our science project? We have to have an idea by tomorrow, and Mr. Morris is gonna be pretty upset if we don't have it."

"Ummm, I honestly have no idea."

Chris sat there on MY bed, eating MY food, and throwing a football into the air and catching it. Something my parents had told him NOT to do in my house.

"Well can you please start thinking instead of hogging up my food and furniture?"

"Awww, is little Kylie mad at her Chrissy boy?"

Chris fluttered his eyelashes and stood up on my bed as I made a grab for the chips. I crossed my arms. There was no way I could reach the chips now unless I had a ladder. Chris was like 6 feet tall! I was only 5' 2". I jumped on the bed next to him and jumped for the chips again. Chris caught my arm and pinned it by my side, laughing. He then did the same with my other arm.

"Chris, let me go!"

"You still want the chips?"

"Yes, actually, I do."

"Okay, here."

Chris stuck out his tongue to display half chewed food in his mouth.

"The BAG of chips, idiot." I rolled my eyes. Chris pulled me closer to him. "What did you just call me?" I pulled his baseball cap off with my teeth and tossed it aside, since Chris still had my hands by my side. "Idiot." I mumbled with a smirk on my face. Chris leaned in. "Apologize or I kiss you." He puckered his lips threateningly. He always threatened to kiss me, but I knew he was joking. We would never become more than friends. "Sorry." I said quickly. Chris laughed and pecked me on the cheek. I wiped my cheek off as dramatically as I could. Chris tipped the bag of chips up and swallowed the rest of the crumbs. Then he handed the bag to me. "Very mature, Christopher." I balled up the bag and hurled it into the trash can in the corner of my room. Chris laughed and plopped back down on the bed, pulling me onto his lap. He flirted with me constantly, but he did that with all girls. It wasn't like he actually liked me. We had just grown up together, so we were comfortable with doing stuff like that. "Chris, we just got into the ninth grade and first quarter hasn't even ended yet. You really wanna fail?" Chris slowly crept his hands to my rib cage, and I jumped out of his lap. He ALWAYS tried to tickle me when I was distracted. I crossed my arms at him. "Do you want me to call you an idiot again?"

"Do you want me to kiss you?"

"MAYBE I DO!" I shouted, not meaning it but just saying it in my aggravation towards him. He pulled me closer to him, his lips barely brushing agains mine as he whispered. "I will." I pushed him away, and he collapsed into fits of laughter on the bed. "I knew you didn't mean it! Oh wow. You crack me up." I sighed and walked out of the room. I felt a hand grab mine and pull me back. "Aw kye, don't be mad."

"Don't 'aw kye' me." I smiled. "I could never get mad at my Chrissy boo." I pecked his cheek and ran off, back into the bedroom. I shut the door and laughed when I felt him trying to barge in. After awhile i I just let him in. Then i realized that I had NEVER kissed him on the cheek. Ever. He did that to me, but it was different when I did it to him. He gave me a shocked expression. "Did you seriously just kiss me on the cheek?" I blushed. "Trust me, it was an accident."

"Hmm, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't." Before I realized what was happening, Chris was on top of me, pinning me against the mattress. "If you love me too, it's okay to admit it. I won't hold it against you." He winked, but I was frozen. "Did you just say 'too'? As in, YOU love ME?"
