Blue's P.O.V
Griffin asked if I wanted to go on a proper date after what happened two nights ago. Today is Saturday and tomorrow I drop off Emerald and Ruby at camp. I smoothed out my navy blue v neckline and put my navy blue converse. Ruby and Emerald were braiding their hair as I walked out of the guest bedroom.
"Are you going on a date with Griffin?" Emerald asked.
"Yeah," I nodded, "What about you both? What are you guys doing on your last day before camp?"
"Kian Jr. is taking us to the beach and Theo is meeting us there," Ruby explained.
"Is it just you four?" I asked, a small smirk forming on my lips.
"Yeah why?" Emerald asked.
"You both are going on a double date," I snickered.
"No we are not. It's just a hang out," Emerald and Ruby whined.
"Whatever you say girls. Whatever you say," I smiled as I curled my hair now blue to turquoise ombre hair.
"Is Griffin going to replace Josh?" Ruby asked.
"I hope so," Emerald chuckled.
I chuckled as I grabbed my navy blue pennyboard. I said goodbye to the girls and headed out. I started pennyboarding toward Griffin's apartment when I got a text. I pulled out my phone as I stopped the pennyboard on the corner of the street. Griffin texted me to meet him a few streets away from Ellen's Stardust Diner. I started skating to Broadway and West 51st street. I got waves from people and I waved back. I spotted Griffin down the street ahead of me. I smirked and sped up. I zoomed past Griffin and laughed as he sped up after me laughing also. We arrived at Ellen's Stardust Diner and half of the line gasped at us.
"Holy crap! That's Griffin Stewart from Addams Family and Blue Ortiz from Les Mis," A young girl in line stated.
I winked at her and she squealed.
"Table for two under Stewart," Griffin smiled at the waitress.
"We've been waiting for you, please follow me," The lady smiled.
Once we entered the restaurant people gasped as we were taken to the second floor. The song that was currently being sang was 'Popular' from Wicked. We sat next to the railing and were given our menus.
A different waitress came up to us and looked at me, "Hi Blue. I know this might be weird but uh, we were planning to sing 'One Day More' and I was supposed to sing for Cosette but I would like you to do the honor and sing it for me. I honestly look up to you a lot and, yeah."
"Of course I would. Where's the mic, I want to hide it and act like someone was supposed to sing it," I smiled at her, "And what's your name?"
"My name is Abby," The blonde smiled at me as she pulled at her mic and place it on the table under napkins, "We normally are positioned all around the diner and you are where I am normally positioned. On other sayings, what would both of you like to drink?"
"I would like a seltzer," Griffin smiled at Abby.
"And I would like a water with lemon," I smiled at her also.
"Coming right up," Abby smiled as she left our table.
"You know that was very nice of you to do that for her," Griffin chuckled.
"I know, I honestly love making people happy," I nodded.
"Besides Cameron apparently," Griffin smirked.
