"Why don't we leave"" Because we can't" The gruffer sounding vehicon said in an dull tone."but we can! If we just ask the Autobots--" The vehicon who spoke had gone quiet after all the displeased looks he was getting from his brothers and sisters. It was no lie all the vehicons wanted to leave but we're to scared too, scared of everything that might go wrong. "Alright Sneo we talk about this later we don't want Knockout to hear. Alright?" Another vehicon said to Sneo, this one was a flier vehicon, Sneo nodded meekly. Sneo then continued mine his little patch of energy crystal while the flier one left to send in another batch to get processed. Sneo and the gruffer vehicon continued mining in peace, unaware they were mining to close.
"How is the mining going so long” The SIC sneered to the red medic he was assigned with for the current mining operation. " Going okay so far. No Autobots and plenty of energon." Knockout asked Starscream's question while he's red optics glanced at the whole mining area. That answer was not satisfying enough for the seeker."Knockout? Is there something your not telling me" Starscream said in a demanding and sinister voice. Sneo and gruffer vehicon physically stilled. That wasn't unnoticed by the other vehicons.
Knockout turned to the SIC and laughed a in a glamorous tone and stated "The pace of the mining by the vehicons are lacking" This also was not the answer Starscream was looking for. "They always are, they pathetic and weak. Only good for labour" Starscream stated like the vehicon weren't even sentient. This made Sneo more angry. "Sneo don't listen to them okay, even if they are our commanders they're jerk. Stupid ones at that" The gruffer vehicon whispered to Sneo to comfort him.
Sneo nodded and began hitting the crystal with more force.
Which each hit was made the cave floor began to crack until on last blow was enough to make the cave rumble and the floor fall through. This alerted everyone to run away but Sneo sadly was slow and fell through into a pitch black hole with twenty or more unlucky vehicon. The gruffer vehicon was lucky that after he had tried to comfort Sneo went on break and went to get some energon.
All the remaining vehicons took a breath before Starscream made them work again in a harsh and loud sneer of command.
The SIC and medic walked cautiously to the pit. A void that at least reached the core of the planet. "Well this wasn't planned for today. Now was it" Knockout said jokingly as he stare at the huge hole. Starscream glared down into the hole, tiredly. "You stay here, I'll report to Megatron" Starscream stated calmly. "What—you can't leave me here with an unstable cave system!" Knockout shouted to the leaving seeker. Knowing that he'd probably be blamed for this mess, he huffed and stare back into the void of darkness. The faint sound of a river was heard which confused knockout but the next sound made him uneasy.
A loud long shriek was heard then screams started being heard this made the vehicons scared and try to run away from the screams and shrieks of pain. Knockout stood on the ledge now, properly seeing in the hole. The loud sound began hurting he's audible receptors. Then began a crunching and throwing sound from the hole, like a creature was down there and was having a feast of it's lifetime.
Knockout took this as a sign to leave and report to Soundwave, frag the vehicons, he's paint would not be covered in blood. As knockout entered the ground bridge, the sound coming from the hole was now soft sounds of metal and wires being cut.
The ground bridge lend him to the main room of the Nemesis, there was Starscream, Megatron and Soundwave. "Ah knockout, just the mech I was talking about. How's the hole? " Starscream said as if knockout being there was on purpose. "Not good" Knockout stated like it was a fact. This caught Megatron's attention.
"How so? " The warlord asked as he turned around from the window looking out side to knockout.
"The vehicons that fall through when it first collapsed I think are eating eaten, violently Lord Megatron" The medic said meekly to Megatron. "Heh knockout you must be joking—" Starscream was cut off by Megatron's command. "Soundwave, research the cave for life signals" Megatron demanded. Soundwave stood still for a second and then projected new found information on the cave system.
There were three life signals coming from the place that was in the hole. One seemed to be weak and always blinking while the other two were strong. "Interesting... Bring the vehicons back—" Megatron demand then looked at Starscream "and you, dreaming and predaking will search the hole and bring — " Megatron glared at the SIC " EVERYTHING back." Then Megatron began going back to stare outside thinking of ways to destroy the Autobots. Soundwave continued looking through reports while Starscream was flabbergasted, why did he have to be with that beast and not knockout.
