When Na-eun had first introduced him to me, I had to bite the inside of my cheek until it started bleeding to stop myself from screaming at her. It was our first year and I couldn't possibly imagine how she was able to find a boyfriend that fast. I had heard it from some of the students around the school, the seven, they were elysian. The youngest ones, Park Jisung and Zhong Chenle, were still a year above us and for the rest of the school had known, they were friends since childhood, and there would be nobody else to join them.
Mark Lee, the oldest, was in his fourth year and was to graduate next year, a shy boy who was the teachers' pet and would answer all the questions if he was called on. The next four boys were in the same year, Huang Renjun, Lee Jeno, Lee Donghyuck, and Na Jaemin. Renjun, a Chinese student who could speak perfect Korean and was the student council president, Jeno, also (apparently) fairly nice and was a member of the boxing team, Donghyuck, who's only interests consisted of girls and overwatch, and Jaemin, who would flirt with anything that could walk on two legs. Zhong Chenle, who was in the second year, was captain of the basketball team and a Chinese transfer student, and Park Jisung was the captain of the dance club and would be usually seen following Chenle around.
They were introduced as unofficial fuckboys who found pleasure in breaking hearts and laws, but considering their family background, they would most likely not be punished for their actions. Boys like them always had me gagging and wondering why the fuck any girl would be so keen to become a toy just for the sake of the boys' pleasure. Unfortunately, my expectations were too high for my friends, as I found them staring for longer than needed at the figures of seven boys who practically ruled the halls.
"What the fuck?" Was the first thing I asked, once I spotted one of my best friends, Park Na-eun, cuddled up in some boys arms. Personally, I hadn't really paid attention to the outside world this past month, I was more in trying to get settled into the college setting. "Uh?" Eun-soo, my other best friend, had an eyebrow raised as she scanned the scene in front of her. "Wow, I guess she's getting dick already." Min-ji snorted, plopping down at the seat in front of us, shooting us a cheeky grin.
"Hold up, I know him." Da-yoo exclaimed, slapping her hand on the desk. "Lee Donghyuck." She added as I let out a groan. "That fuckboy?" There was an eerie silence between us as we stared at each other, trying to scan one another's expressions. It didn't last long as Na-eun soon walked up to us, a love-sick smile stuck on her face as she stared at the boy beside her. Eun-soo cleared her throat and crossed her arms, and Min-ji stood up suddenly, staring wide-eyed at the girl in front of her.
