Luca knew Adele wanted to kill him and Victor after what happened in the gym a few days ago. She was still sore and staring daggers through him and his cousin. He was right about one thing, though: she didn't go down without a fight. It was the reason he put her against Victor. The others would have gotten mad and knocked her out within the first few minutes. They didn't fight fair and cared nothing about her being a female.
However, today was another day of training after the women recuperated for three days. Their rest time was over, and they had to learn how to fight through their pain, but this time, Adele was paired with his Aunt Heidi. She fought ruthlessly and dirty but was easy to defeat.
Adele noticed that and quickly took her down within the first five minutes, which ticked Heidi off, claiming that she fought like him. Everyone claimed that Luca cheated, but the truth was he sat back and watched their moves, then used them against them. It wasn't cheating; It was logic. Apparently, his wife did the same thing over the last few days.
"Auntie, no one cheated; you're predictable."
"Shut the fuck up, Vic! No one asked you a damn thing. I'm done with this shit. Let's go out as a family. I have something planned, and make sure you all dress nicely."
Luca, Axel, Kellan, and Johan sighed; after remembering she had a charity event plan that neither of them wanted to go to. Heidi was always planning events that none of them knew what they were about. In his opinion, she loved giving away money, and she knew how to trap them into going.
"Stop looking at me like that, Luca. It will be fun, and it's for the Children's Hospital in Adele's old Stadt in South Carolina. The one where she worked before you kidnapped her. I wanted to honor her and the lives she saved while there. Including Oliver, the one that you never told her, survived and still in remission because of her."
Heidi was wrong. Adele knew about Oliver, and that was something he would never keep from her. He informed her how he kept taps on him and his family and paid all of his medical bills. He also made sure Oliver's family never had to worry about anything. Luca didn't need to lie to his wife.
"You're wrong, I told Adele, but the charity I am uncertain of. What did you tell them about Adele?"
"Nothing that you didn't tell them. Although, I don't know why we are still lying about what happened to her. You should release the truth and tell them she faked her death because she learned about her father trying to kill her. It shouldn't be hard to get the authorities on your side." Luca rolled his eyes. The woman found any excuse to have a fucking ball. She acted as if he didn't have to plan their normal gala event, which was months away.
"Heidi, honey, it may not be wise to have this thing tonight."
"Listen to your husband, sweetie—"
"Who asked you for your two cents, Sib—"
"WATCH YOUR DAMN MOUTH HEIDI! SHE'S YOUR DAMN MOTHER AND YOU WILL NOT TALK TO HER IN THAT MANNER!" Rose yelled, making some of them jump. She wasn't the one to raise her voice, but she would do it if necessary. Right now, Heidi was in the wrong, and she knew it.
"I don't care. She didn't think that when she took her racist ass brother's side. Did you, Sibylla?"
"Okay, I'm not going to stand here and let you disrespect our Mother like that. Heidi, if you had taken the time to sit down and talk to her, you would have understood the full story."
"I really don't give a fuck. We rule Germany, and I'm not going to stand back letting them punks think they scare us. Why are we hiding like a bunch of scared little bitches. Luca, I know you're not going to stand there letting this bitch win. I will have my charity event, and you all will come!"
