Y/N POV

It's my first full day in LA and apparently Christian and Ethan have some stuff planned for all of us to do today. I haven't talked to Daniel since our encounter in the bathroom, which is understandable. We didn't talk at dinner, he excused himself before I had a chance to talk to him. But now, maybe I can.

I leave my room dressed in shorts, a graphic tee, and my Vans. As I head to the bathroom to do my hair, I hear Daniel yell from his room, "Don't forget a bathing suit!" I turn to him and he just looks back with a little smirk. I playfully roll my eyes back, ignoring his comment. But once he closed his door, I quickly went back into my room to put on a bathing suit under my clothes.

We all go into Christian's car and drive to Santa Monica Pier. We're going to meet up with Daniel and Christian's sister, Anna, and Daniel's friends. The drive isn't long, but with traffic it feels like forever. It doesn't surprise me how many people are going to the beach on the weekend. Ethan sits with Christian in the front, while me and Daniel sit in the back. I look out the window just to look at the view.

"So, y/n, you've never been here before?" Daniel asks. I turn away from the window and look at his blue eyes.

"No, this is my first time." I say, trying not to break eye contact.

"Well, if you don't mind, I was wondering if I could give you a tour." He says, I can't help but smile a little. How nice of him.

"Yeah, sure. I don't see why not." I tell him. He smiles.

"Great." And we leave it at that.

We finally walk on the pier after spending 15 minutes looking for a parking spot. Christian and Ethan go look for Anna while me and Daniel look for his friends.

"So, this is the pier. It looks like a lot, but don't get too overwhelmed. It's mainly food and games. Oh and lots of souvenir shops." He says, gesturing both his hands to the boardwalk.

"Do you come here often?" I ask, but then instantly regret. I sound like a weird dude at a bar trying to pick up chicks.

"Yeah, it's fun. You'll love it." He says, he takes my hand and we explore the different shops and booths.

We played a bunch of games and won a lot of prizes. We visited some souvenir shops, but didn't find anything we liked. The day just kept getting better and better. We tried different snacks from funnel cake to snow cones. I didn't want it to end, if only everything in life was this carefree and easy. We're walking to another booth when Daniel's phone starts ringing.

"Hey man what's up?...Yeah, where are you?...okay....okay...yeah I know what you're talking about...okay yeah I'll see you there...k..okay see you soon Corb" he then hangs up. I watch him scan the boardwalk as I eat the last of my snow cone.

"Who was that?" I ask. He stops scanning and looks at me.

"That was Corbyn, one of my friends. They're at the beach right now. They want us to go there." He tells me. I don't understand why he sounds a little upset.

"Well, what are we waiting for? We were supposed to meet them anyway." I tell him. I start to look around for a garbage can.
