I can hear my heart beat at a steady rythem. The voices around me blur into static.I can hear...but I can't see.
My vision, a deep vast of black void. I can't remember how long I've been here. Always surrounded, but so alone. Trapped in an empty space.
Can't move. Can't see. Can't touch. I can make out words...'severe'...'not much time'...'never wake'. I can't remember yet.
All I remember is light, blood, pain. So long, trapped in a lonely place. I remember more now. A white room. A man. A doctor! Yes, I remember now. I'm asleep. I've been asleep.
So long. Waiting. trapped in a cycle of torture.
But no pain. I can't feel pain anymore.I can't feel anything anymore.I can hear more. 'Gone'. 'Pull the plug'. 'Rest soon'. Oh, rest is coming. Finally peace. Wait.....for the first time in a while, I can move. My eyes, I can see now. The lights are bright, I still hear the voices. 'Good... bye I love you'.
No!! I'm awake!! But I can't move. BEEP BEEP BEEP FLAT LINE My heart beat. It's stopped for the first time.
It's quiet. Finally rest. Never to wake again. The lights fading..I was so close.
Hmmm maybe a few minutes more and I'd have awaken. Huh, guess they lost hope.
Good bye.
