This is more of an intro to the story and not exactly a chapter but I still hope you like it...

I sat comfortably with my head against the dark tinted window of the van. Every now and then, the van would hit a bump on the road making my head bounce against the window. I looked at the rear view mirror watching Gotham city grow smaller... I hadn't noticed how beautiful it was until I was actually leaving.
The buildings lighting the sky white with their inner lights. The fading sound of honking cars and police sirens. It was so beautiful... at least now I thought it was. I use to despise it but something changed in me when I met him.

He was so confusing and hard to figure out. I wanted to know everything about him... his fucked up view on the world only me attracted me more towards him. He was a challenge. And my curiosity was what got me tied up and twisted like a knot into a mess I wasn't going to be able to fix.

I continued to look out the window trying to reflect on everything that had happened the past 3 months. I was just an average high school girl with hopes and dreams of a successful life in the future. I wanted to graduate high school, then go to college,and purse a career in psychology. I wasn't much of a party girl and had dedicated most of my time in studying and school.
Listening to all of this in my head sounded more lame and worthless now.
There was nothing I could do now. I had thrown everything I cared about in the hands of the most feared criminal in Gotham. And I don't think it even bothered me anymore...

I gently closed my eyes and tried to recall how this whole mess started.
It started on a typical gloomy Gotham day. Although it didn't rlly end so typical...

Srry this 'chapter' was extremely short. Most of the other chapters will most likely not be this short (at least I'll try) Also this story will be told as one whole flashback. Next chapter we'll get to learn the main character's name. I hope you enjoy!
