Rise of Sajaegis

"Dahyun! Chae! Wakeup!"

"Hmmm? Mina stop talking…or shouting, I can't tell. Your voice makes me sleepy." Dahyun muttered as she pulled a nearby pillow and placed it over her face.

Mina heavily exhaled before using her powers to levitate Dahyun from the bed and brought her to the living room, dropping her off on top the sleeping strawberry princess.

A loud thud can be heard along with 'oww's and 'ouch's 

"Wake up! The city is in danger, city alert level rose up to 9!"  

That was enough for the two to scrumble up, eyes still red from the lack of sleep.

"Seriously?!" 

"But I thought the arson bandits are already caught?"

Mina gave them a worried look before walking towards the window and opened the curtains.

"See it for yourselves."

Dahyun and Chaeyoung walked towards the window and as they stepped in closer, they can feel their hearts beating fast and fear dawning on them. Outside the window, is the once peaceful Busan, broke into chaos. Fire is everywhere, people are screaming, evacuating while the horrendous yellow tapes were scattered and wrapped around almost every blocks.

"Oh my god." 

Chaeyoung's eyes widened and leaned in closer to the window pane when a dark violet beam appeared from multiple directions, causing havoc.

Dahyun on the other hand, immediately grabbed the remote control and turned the television on.

"Dahyun what are you—"

"In today's news, the appearance of these dead humans brought back to life cause a major destruction in the city to the point that it forced the city to lock down because of how high and alarming the danger level is."

Footage of those zombie-like figures can be seen roaming around the city, indeed causing trouble. What's different with the current zombie definition with those that was seen on the screen is that: zombies eat brains while these ones just shoots out dark shadow beams, vomit acid, and destroy stuff with bare hands. 

"These strange creatures, according to some experts, are known to be called as sajaegis. They have existed years back and was totally annihilated by our previous heroes. Their sudden appearance still remains a mystery."

"But a sajaegi doesn't have that many magic! It's either one of those but not all three of them and surely they don't know how to…to move like that…it's almost as if they're—" Chaeyoung pointed, highly puzzled at the appearance of something they fought to death years ago.

"—humans." Mina finished it out.

"But why are they here! Why is the structure so different but yet so similar?? They're supposed to be gone." Dahyun muttered, stressed out.

Chaeyoung was about to say something but theie building shook and a fire was declared on the 10th floor. 

"Dahyun! Chae! We need to get out of here!"

The duo did not waste anymore time and immediately obeyed the older one, Dahyun grabbed her emergency backpack with her clothes in while Chaeyoung did the same.
