Author's notes always seem like an appealing idea until you have to write them, or at least this is how it always is with me. I realize I don't have to, but letting you get into this book without some form of heads-up has never been my style so you'll have to bear with me.
Still Point is the first in a series of interconnected stand alone books I call Crush, and among many other things, it is a story of love (isn't it always?), trauma, poetry, addiction, 3 a.m. texts, midnight kisses, vulnerability, and mistakes. Basically, the book form of any Conan Gray song out there, give or take a few things left out.
For some of you parts of this novelette may be triggering (especially if you've have experience with abuse), and so if at any point you feel you need to put this book down then do it. Recuperate and come back when you're ready, because this story will be here when you are.
