Drishika opened her mouth to say something but stopped. She swivelled and saw smoke spewing from the forest on their right. She sat down and brought her ear near the ground. Rutuja touched the ground and closed her eyes. "Vibrations," the girls said in unison. "Seems like an enormous army is heading this way," guessed Drishika. "What do we do?" asked Himakat and glanced at Rishi. "Where is, I mean, do you have an army?" asked Rishi. "I will summon them," said Agnimitra and snapped her fingers.

Near about 20 men, wearing an armour materialised in front of them. They all held a spear and shield in their hands. "Look at their armour," whispered Rutuja.

Drishika observed their armour. It had the symbol which brought all the trouble to them. The symbol of fire and water.

The girls could still not believe their eyes. It was difficult for them to cope up with things, leave along fighting an army. Both the girls were clearly not an athlete or physically strong.

"I don't think 20 men stand a chance against an army," said Drishika. "They can buy us time," said Rishi. "Time for what?" asked Rutuja. "If the Queen is in that ruin," said Rishi pointing towards the north. "Then, we must go there."

"Fight Hadeon, and his evil army, and rescue the Queen," added Drishika. "Great! We've been trained all our lives for this moment."

Rutuja looked at Drishika and pursed her lips, trying her best to suppress the laughter. "We aren't warriors, Rishi," she said. "I know, but you're good people," he replied. "You do not turn up to anybody like that for help."

"Exactly my point," said Drishika and crossed her arms. "Drishika, let's just go for it," suggested Rutuja.

"Are you on their side or ours?" asked Drishika exasperated. "I want us to go back safely, and that's when we solve this problem over here."

"No time for talking, lads," said an old lady. "You?" said Rutuja. She dusted the yellow, cap-like thing she wore on her hair. It was the same lady that they met in the tent. She had transported them here.

"Are you sure about your choice, Bluebell?" asked Himakat. "It is the Prince's choice," she murmured. "Who's this Prince?" wondered Drishika. "Probably the Queen's son," guessed Rutuja. "He chose us??" gaped Drishika.

Himakat observed the girls.

"Looking at you, I can say, that you aren't an athlete at all," he remarked. He turned to look at Agnimitra. "The Queen also believed she would be a great fit," she said. "If the Queen says so," said Himakat and clapped.

Drishika and Rutuja shielded their eyes from the light emanating from an object on the ground.

Drishika looked at it and smiled. She remembered dreaming about swords and daggers. Both the girls were fond of them. They had been planning to join sword fighting classes from a long time.

Its hilt was embedded with blue jewels. The brown scabbard perfectly covered the sword. "I have guarded this sword since... " Himakat broke off and shook his head. "I leave them under your care," said Agnimitra, caught Rishi by his arm and vanished.
