Australia is 6 in this chapter. And will be 6 years old until I say so in another chapter.

Australia's POV:

I was sitting on the couch with my legs crossed with my plushy koala in in my lap, I was watching my dad paint a new painting that he started a couple of days ago, he said he's thinking of calling it rainbow serpent. The reason I was watching my dad paint was because we were waiting for Mum to come home it Friday night witch means that she would come home a little later than usual. It's really quite expect for the ticking of the clock on the wall next to me , I look up at the clock and realise It was already way pass my bed time. My bedtime was usually 7:00pm but on Fridays I got to stay up till 8:00pm to see Mummy when she got home, but right now it's already 10:27pm.

Dad stoped painting and put his brush in a water cup ,and wiped his hands on the towel that was next to the canvas he was painting. He also glanced at the clock I was looking at and sighed. He looked at me and gave a small smile, I could tell that he was starting to get a bit worried, I don't get why though?

He walked over to the couch and sat next to me and looked down at me and smiled trying not to show how worried he was. But I know my dad I know when he's upset or mad. "I'll let you wait with me for another 2 minutes with me. If mum isn't home by then I'll go looking for her okay?" My dad said putting a hand on my shoulder. I was about to argue with him saying that I could go with him and help, but then there was a knock at the door.

That must be Mummy! I got super excited and was about to jump off the couch and go greet her but I was stoped by my dad putting a hand in front of me but he wasn't looking at me, he was still looking at the door. I looked up at him confused "Dad? Why can't I go open the door for Mummy?" I said sadly. My dad turned to look at me and he had a face of total confusion. "That's not your mum" I looked at him like he was crazy. "Why wouldn't it be Mum?" I asked now ten times more confused.

He looked at me a bit worried. " Mum doesn't knock on the door she opens the door with a key, that is kept in her handbag... so unless she left it at work, witch is highly unlikely, it's not Mum" he said standing up. He looked at me and bent down to my level and put a hand on my shoulder "stay here okay Aussie?" My dad said softly. I nodded and sat back further into the couch. My dad then stood up and walked over to the door. And since the couch was inline with the door I could still see and hear everything.

Once my dad opened the door and there stood a man in a grey fedora and in a black trench coat, it was to dark outside so I couldn't see what flag colours he was, all I could see was his eyes, and Then the man smirked, I would never forget that smirk it sent chills down my spine looking at it. "Good afternoon sir, I'm new to this little neighbourhood, and it seems that I had gotten one of your packages at my door step!" His voice was high pitch and almost scratchy but that wasn't the thing I was focused on.

It was the way my dad instantly stiffened and held the door frame extremely tight. " I don't know how you got that." My dad said with a stern voice.

The man with the fedora tilted his head to the side curiously. "Well I told you I found the package at m-" my dad butted in before he could finish. "I know what you said. But that's not the reason I said 'I don't know how you got that' the reason I said that was because that was the same package my wife picked up this morning from OUR mail box before she went to work" my dad was basically crushing the door with anger.

The man smiled big showing all his teeth and death stared my dad with wide open eyes. "Oh really! maybe she dropped it then!" My dad was fuming with anger by now. But he took a big breath and took the package from the man. He took a step back so he could close the but before he did he said something with such a cold tone that made my face drop instantly. "Guess she must of..." he said before fulling closing the door.
